Ruff07 - Poor Marvin, but really ... who cares?

Maybe we could be our ally's vassal (or the other way around), if you know what I mean (and WB their attitude to +100). I can't test this right now, but this would get around the research penalty, but it might limit our options as to how much we can control our ally.
Maybe we can be PA and vassal at the same time :crazyeye:.

edit: I agree with a high difficulty level

yes [req 10 chars] - actually, make it a fast worker as Marvin is an android and works fast. Sure, he grumbles, but he does get the tasks allocated to him done. We might want to slave a chopper to him for protection.

Good enough for me - IIRC Hannibal is financial, but isn't a total wimp like Mansa. The only other option I would consider is a Rexxer, but I am happy with these settings.
Any mapscript is fine by me.

Here's the Start-

We can't disucc where to settle, but I'll play tomorrow.

Hi There! This is Eddie, your ship board computer bringing you an update on the progress of this SG. Currently Rex rgis of Ter has the save and is (or is suppose to be) playing and preparing his report. He posted his got it on Apr 28, 2008, 09:21 PM so he is within the 48 hour window. I would hate to think what would happen if he didn't report within this window.

All other players and lurkers are currently wasting their time doing what ever it is that they do. I'm sure that this is going to be a fun time so lets all sit back and relax.

Eddie is the name of the shipboard computer on the starship Heart of Gold. Like every other system on the spaceship, it has a Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Genuine People Personality. Thus, Eddie is over-excitable, quite talkative, over-enthused and extremely ingratiating, or alternatively a coddling, school matron-type after a particularly morose conversation with Marvin the paranoid android. Shipboard networking interconnects Eddie with everything from the air conditioning upwards on the Heart of Gold, with the downside the whole ship is effectively crippled by Arthur Dent's request for tea from Nutrimatic Drink Dispenser, the computation of which nearly crashed Eddie and everything connected to him.

On one occasion when certain destruction seems quite imminent, Eddie sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" in a particularly cheesy and upbeat tone.

I invited Eddie (a very nice fellow if a bit talkative) to take over the running of this SG as it ties nicely in with the theme.

BW and then the wheel or just a straight shoot for alphabet

The worst land I've ever seen. It's just so hard isn't it? Hannibal's a great big brute, always blathering about amphibuous invasions on boats. I tell him it would have to be amphibuous because we are alone. We also have a lot of elephants.

There doesn't seem to be any spiritual civs in the game. Buddhism is founded late, after Marvin helped construct two camps to mindlessly slaughter stupid animals.

Hannibal's terrible land-

*Snaps out of Marvin's depression*

lurkers comment: Is that desert tile above the floodplains another set of Floodplains? Cause the map generator sometimes don't give diagonal tile a floodplain graphic even though it is.

If it isn't and is just a regular desert tile, then that seems a good spot for a second city.
