Ruff's Cobbled SG Modpack

Mike - the link you posted is the correct link. Click 'skip ad' (if an ad appears), then about half way down the next page is a blue link under 'ruffhi's files' ...

"Ruffs Cobbled SG Mods v1.2.0b...."

Click on that link and it takes you to the download site.

@ruff:

Is your SG mod (I'm using it gratefully for a long while now with vanilla Civ4 and don't want to miss it) compatible with Warlords ? Thanks for all the work you put into it (the mod, not Warlords ;) :D ) !

Imhotep

Edit: I actually tried it. It didn't work, it gave a CTD after the loading screen. Would have been to good...

@·Imhotep·

no idea - haven't got warlords but I hear from the mod threads that they are not. How did you get the '.' half way up the line?

It took me forever to figure out what you were talking about! :lol: It looks like an extended ASCII control code. Hold down your ALT key and type 250 (on your num keypad) and see if that works. It should give you the · dot.

@ruff:

No, it's not working - unfortunately it only produces a CTD :( . The dots are ALT+0183 on the Num Pad, at least at my european keyboard...but ALT+250 works too. :D

I can't access that download site! What happened?
I have now added it to the File Database ... see first post for link to file.

Mikezang - follow the links on the first page of this thread to the individual mods. Download those individual mods and it will give you exactly which files are included.

Sorry for a round-a-bout answer but I haven't dug into this for a few weeks.

First off I like this mudpack and thanks for the help [by pm] ruff. I have a few problems and suggestions:

Problems:
  • When using the Domestic “At a Glance” the +/- numbers don’t correlate with the mouse over numbers when you add them up. Why is that? I ask it here, though I assume it would be better answered in the mod authors thread.

Suggestions:
  • When using the autlogger I can’t stand having to click on the ‘Ok’ box every time. Several times I’ve forgotten and had to go back and re-enter the text again. I much prefer to just be able to press Enter no matter where the mouse pointer is located. You might want to add Requies’s modification to the autologEventmanager.py located in line 104. I did and this makes things so much easier.
  • Anyway you can edit it so that while playing a game I can go to Options and adjust the settings for this mudpack? I really like how the HoF mod allows that and this mudpack (as you’ve mentioned) was based off of the HoF mod.

Thanks!

No. (additional letters for 10 letter rule)

Version 2.0 for vanilla and warlords are now available - see post #1

It is a stand alone mod but you could use it as a mod component.

must say to all ~ this mod is super awesome! :goodjob: great work, ruff, w/all that you did ~ were you able to work out the bug w/the war delcaration logging~

and, uh, did you make it able to log shrine builds? :D

@pholk
- yes re war declarations (now in both Vanilla and Warlords).
- no re shrines (I'm assuming you are talking about the ones that burn a great priest (I don't think an event is triggered so I cannot report on it)

OK then wheres the normal files, assets, etc?:confused:
There are two links to the CFC file database just below the 'current version' heading on the first post of this thread.
