Just read my above post.

If I would do the same here in Finland I would get the opposite effect... or maybe even equal
Edit: And what the hell is a Brit doing in Switzerland if not a secret?
English teacher.
My friend from Holland had no idea what a T-34 was, either. I don't think it would matter if I asked in Dutch, because letters are pretty universal, and she can also speak German, French, & English.
The simple fact is that the T-34 doesn't have good name recognition. It shouldn't be an issue for precluding it from the game, as the Holkans of the Maya don't exactly have strong name recognition. I'm just saying is that in an echo chamber full of people familiar with history, such as our little echo chamber here, you will have a lot more people who will be familiar with such things. Everyday citizens in the U.S. or non-Soviet Block Europe? Not very likely. (Yes, I know Finland wasn't Soviet Block, but it was a bordering country with a very close history and borders with Russia).
If you're going to change the argument, then change the definition. The T-34 is as famous as the Panzer... in Eastern Europe. There. Not that it matters for inclusion in the game.
Oh, and as much fun as it is to make fun of Yanks, it reeks of insecurity. Anyway, the game's on and I got some wurst on the grill.
Yeah this French lass seems very uh "educated". Not even knowing the tanks that steamrolled her country...
Look, if you want, I can ask a bunch of people during my next visit to France, but I doubt I'll get a different answer. But, feel free to insult my friends and French citizens. It paints a very nice picture of you.
Ha! Brazil was off side for their goal. Alright, game time now...
