I didn't want to do this publicly, but I found no ready means to do it privately.
The quote for sacrifice cult, while I'm sure it exists, is wrong. The actual religion of satanism does not perform sacrifice. It admits there is energy in the life force which could be acquired through sacrifice of an animal or person, but considers it feeble when compared to the life force exercised by the practitioner giving himself over to an emotion which resonates with the purpose of a performed ritual, whether anger for destruction, lust for sex, or charity/sorrow for a compassion ritual.
Certainly there are likely individuals who worship the christian entity satan who kill things in a deluded belief that they are sacrificing to perform magic in an attempt to live with them self after killing a being in cold blood. Adherents of the actual religion called satanism, however, believe that animals and children are sacred due their innocence and purity, never harm children, and would only harm animals in self defense or for food. The quote is similar to stories of the fiction of Satanic Ritual Abuse, damaging to a religion of, ultimately, misguided individuals who've grown a thick shell to repel an all to often painful life. I use to use the term my self, thus why I feel the need to explain this and make the following request.
Please, Afforess, find another quote for Sacrifice Cult. There are plenty of religions which do practice sacrifice, you could even quote the story of Cain and Abel. The chosen quote perpetuates a harmful and insulting stereotype.
So as to not make this entirely bad, I truly do like the mod. I had more fun playing Civ today than I have in the past year, at least. I just felt a slight twinge when I heard that quote.
