i need some explanations here. i guess there are an ice cream in america called something road, a song called something racoon and a tv show called something and bullwinkle.

The word you are looking for is Rocky APS!
You must have heard of Rocky and Bullwinkle - Robert de Niro was in the, admittedly rubbish, film version of the TV show. I've never heard of Rocky Road though. But I doubt we get the same ice cream in Britain as the US. The ancient ice cream in the Bible joke just wouldn't work over there I wouldn't have thought.

Rocky road is an ice cream here in america. It has nuts and marshmallows in chocolate ice cream i believe.

Rocky and Bullwinkle is a dumb little cartoon/movie

"Rocky Raccoon", it was this little hit by some no-name band called The Beatles. It came from their album titled The Beatles, but commonly referred to as The White Album. That album never did very well, I think it stalled out at number 5 on the all-time top selling albums. I think they were from somewhere around where you live Duke.

Hmmm, i guess i got slapped for that comment or sumthing. Mikoyan, can you please PM me with the comment? I don't get insulted. Basically, i don't have anything against any sort of music, (except some that strongly goes against my beliefs), but i can't say i have ever heard any Middle Eastern music. (I am very ignorant in my knowledge of asia)

Well I didn't bother explaining the song as I thought that most people would know about it. Shame that not everyone does. But I hope Lefty's rendition inspires other people to go and l;isten to the song. In fact, the entire album. It's not even one of the better songs on the white album.
Liverpool's not that close to Leeds, at least as far as relative distances in Britain are concerned, but it's much less than about a quarter of a US state's width away, if that makes any sense. I was born there, but didn't manage to pick up any musical ability in the short time I lived there. Not that surprising, as I moved before the age even Mozart started to play the piano.
