Salt and vinegar crisps/chips

I love salt and vinegar chips, at least if when you say "chip" you mean "a thinly-sliced deep-fried bag-packaged potato", some people have this strange idea that french fries are chips.....

When I went to London, I bought the first crisps/chips I saw, and I was amazed at how good they tasted. The taste seemed familiar, but I've never seen this taste before on this kind of food. I looked on the package and it was written "vinegar". Wow!

But salt chips/crisps are the huge majority here, I didn't know they aren't everywhere! I thought that was the normal kind of chips/crisps!
