Seriously isn't this ritual rather pointless? At first I thought it gives YOU Mokka at the expense of being attacked by frostlings, however I found out it summons barb frostlings and barb Mokka....... Absolutly useless IMO

You could rush it with the hope that the frostlings will do some of your dirty work for you and take out another civ.

Except it's not. Because you need to build it before you can build the other rituals, like say awakening Drifa, or The White Hand.

Some of the Rituals are incredibly useful, some of them... well, they can be pretty lethal to the Illians. One way or another, they are risks. A very interesting change of pace amongst civs.

Theres a reason you can make Samhain from the start after all. If it were any good it would be a lot harder.

Is there any particular reason why the White Hand ritual can only be cast once?
How come Illians can only get 3 priests?

Mokka and his frostlings took out the Grigori AND Ljósálfar in my first .34 game, in about turn 50 on Monarch, then soon came Orthus and took out Khazad. It was a "Play now" game, I usually play with an advanced start. I wasn't nearly as effective in my second game with an advanced start, Mokka was killed a few turns after I cast the ritual.

I do have to agree, this seems a poor design choice. You lose a single priest to unfortunate events and you've permanently lost one of your high priests. Lose all three, and bye bye ever having any ever. At the very least you should be able to repeat the ritual if one or all of the priests die.
