I think I'll be away for a few days early next year, about the 3rd til the 7th, so I won't start anything til then.

Also, I don't know how to set up a PTBS game, nor do I know whether my connection will allow others to connect to one if I were able to set it up.

Ok, if anyone knows how to set up a PTBS game, I can get my laptop set up to test the connection. The only thing stopping me is not knowing how to set PTBS up.

I think just running the Pitboss.exe file in your BtS folder should do it, and then you probably have to chose map settings etc.

Apparently my router won't allow Civ 4 to use enough ports to run a PTBS server.

As such, I am unable to host.
