Oh no, G_W, you're dead on. They want Fued...I'm just suprised no one believed our threat 
Question is...how valuble is Bureacracy to us...base cost of CS is 725 beakers, Fued base value is 778 (ignore archery). And why did MS ask for Archery as Kaz already have that? Also they are researching faster than us atm...but that will change. Also, trading fuedalism makes the timing of a Cav boating attempt somewhat sooner, as they are more likely to head for optics if they don't have to research Fued.
I suggested to LP that they counter offer requesting Calendar as well, but offer half the gold cost of Calendar to balance that out.

We can get CS by t110, and Calendar t108. Question is...how much do we help Cav and Kaz by trading away Fued? What do they have to tech? They'll be left with Drama, Music (Kaz), Paper, Philosophy, Theology, HBR, Machinery, Compass. And how fast are Cav teching? Will Cav tech Fued, or will they let their slower partners tech Kaz tech it?
And why are MS offering us a tech that gets us closer to maces? We don't need them with war eles available, but parking a mace on a forest is always a nice way to play defense.
On the surface it looks to be just about acceptable, but what are the consequences of doing the trade? We don't need CS for a few more turns, but what is it worth? Saturn want it but they have a grand total of 2 cottages in their cap which is size 7, so they don't massively need it either, regardless of what they say. I think if we got CS next turn and revolt next turn to bureau and serfdom, we'd get an extra 130ish commerce compared to getting CS on t110
I don't think we'll lose the trade if we ask to add Calendar in; they approached us, they want fued. Calendar isn't an expensive tech, and offering 200 gold extra will speed up their next tech by a fair amount.

it won't autoraze. If a city has ever been size 2, they don't autoraze. So, we take it and give it back (or, we kill a barb and they kill the other after and take it back)
