Scenario Request Thread

I got this. Im going to add 2 tribes in russia east + west. The Alans are going to persia and India will be Gupta under Ashoka. Britian will be unified. The mongols will be above china. Korea will be Chinese as it sometimes was. The franks will have spain

I like it, a lot, except for the Franks getting Spain. As I read, the Byzantines and the Franks were at war over it, but it was under Byzantine controll. Perhaps that could be good enough? Other than that, I'm really really glad you picked this up!
 
1) To Techathon : when your 18 Civs Alternative Earth will be finished, it is a no-mod scenario ?

Because i'm on a mac, which not handle more than 18 Civs...

2) I would like an alternative earth, where the splitting of 395 AD wasn't enacted...

Or an alternate 2000 AD

Could you techathon, make that ? you could create a thread called Alternatives Earths with alternatives earths scenarios... At diiferents epochs but with no mods please...

Im giving the franks spain so they can have a little more power. However the bynstines will have an invasion army (~15 troops outside spain.

"How do I set the start date?"

You will have to use the worldbuilder save to edit the start date.
In the WorldBuilder Save it will be something like this

You will change the start date by changing the "GameTurn" option. You could just change the "StartYear" option but if you set it to start at 100AD it would start out incrementing 40 years at a time instead of the proper amount. The time increment is dependent on your GameSpeed. To calculate the Game Turn that gives you the correct time you want to be set you will have to check the "CIV4GameSpeedInfo.xml" file. It will look something like this;

What will be the civs, whyonly 13-14 Civs ? you could enhance the richess of your scenario, by a few more factions...

But if you prefer to leave possibility of colonies, i understand...

I was just wondering if there is a Scenario out there relating to the Crusades? The scenario would includes UU such as the Knights Templar and various other important characters from this time.

I know I once saw a thread about it but I don't think it was ever developed.

BTW, I use BTS and it's all up to date with the latest updates.

The Crusades! is an attempt in that direction, as mentioned; unfortunately, two modders working in more or less the same direction both quit their projects, so no custom units (such as Knights Templar) are currently included. What about a 2001 AD no mod scenario on standard earth, Matrix one ?

With 18 Civs it would really easy...
 
Does anyone have any plans to do a Reconquista scenario?
I remember a pretty good Civ 3 one and I'm sure that could work as a model.
Lots of cool possibilities with religion, vassalage, etc.
 
I'd love to see a fictional WWIII scenario. Maybe something to do with certain countries' military buildups, perhaps? And the fact that the U.S. is a world power and isn't in isolationism anymore?
 
Anyone feel up to making a Stargate Atlantis Mod based around the war between the ancients and the wraith using the Final Frontier set up? :)
