I need a Deputy Science Minister for Term 6. Anyone interested may PM me or post here. The application period will last until Sunday, January 12 at 12:00 PM PST
 
Not much interest I'm afraid. Personally I don't know enough of the Civ2 tech tree to be helpful but I do have an idea: a science advisor isn't necessary each turn, when several techs are picked out that need to be researched you can post a poll at the beginning of the term and the rest of the term we will be busy researching!
Then you don't really need a deputy. :)

If it is not to late, I would like to put my hat into the ring. I am already a Science Leader in the Civ3 Demogame.
 
Hello :) Jayne has already posted a poll. Whatever. We are making a discovery every 2 'turns', so that means 3 or 4 new discoveries next Wednesday when Jayne plays. There is quite a bit of stuff posted here and there, Corporation, Genetic Cure for Cancer, avoid Magnetism, and many other details, some conflicting. But hey, what the heck!

I'll mention one thing here :lol: , that people want Electricity, for Refrigeration I guess, but we lack Engineers and are busy laying RailRoad. If you were to ask me, I'd say let's get Cure for Cancer and Machine Tools, Artillery, for one last Leonardo upgrade. Build some Vet Ironclads to empty enemy capitals. Then... save up a treasury, build Darwin, get Industrialization and Mass Transit both at once, and Rush Buy two Mass Transit improvements before pollution chokes us. Fit Refrigeration in there somewhere. Not sure if that is the best plan, but it IS a plan.
