Scoring - using the calculator

A quick question about the use of the excel calculator. I've just finished GOTM32 and to comply with the rules need the score.

1. Does the spreadsheet account for the turns for AC landing based on the landing year ie can the date field be used for AC landing games?

2. Perhaps someone could post the number of turns to AD 1695 (emperor level) so I can check my own enpirical calculations. The year-progressions do not seem to tally with those in the "Scrolls of Wisdom" table for Emperor - mine seems to be like those for King. :confused: :nuke:
 
To check the game year. Save your game activate cheat mode and use the option set game year. The number in the dialog that pops up is the turn number.

This is probably due to the fact that the progression is also related to the size of the map IIRC (not at deity level, though).

Edit: I've just done it and it seems 1695 represented 240 turns for this game.

Having come back to civ2 after a break of some 3 years I will need to go through my old occ logs to check your point on the effect of map size.
