I hadn't played EU in years, so i think this is not bad for my third game of DW:

I am allied with Trebizond, Wallachia and Milan (not sure what allies Milan may also bring in a war against Venice)

Out of curiosity, how long have you been playing this particular game? Just trying to compare how much time I spend between 1399 and 1420 compared to another player. Anyone else who wants to answer this question would be welcome, hehe.

Also watch Novgorod disappear soon under Muscovy. I tried playing Novgorod last time I played. What a failure.

And to actually post a screenshot for a change, here's my Scandinavia in 1892.

It's not as big as it could be, I know, but I'm still quite proud of beating hyper-industrialised Russia many times in succession. My long-term goals for the late game would include pursuing colonial interest in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and East Africa and setting up Baltic vassal states to combat further Russian influence.

Looks like a pretty intense game. I have 2 questions

1: is there a program that takes map shots like that?

2: How did the scramble for Africa go down? In every one of my games no one colonizes Africa I'm the only one who ever attempts it.

The first one is as answered; it took some time for me to figure it out too.

Regarding the Scramble for Africa, it was indeed pretty unusual. I think it was the Two Sicilies that conquered most of Egypt all the way down to Sudan, hence the Italian territories in that area. France gained and used a 'Cut down to Size' CB on Ethiopia and went on from there. They both apparently researched Nationalism and Imperialism pretty early and started colonising, resulting in the unusually equal-sided territorial balance in Africa instead of the usual continent-spanning, human-controlled empire.

had to re-size it unfortunately. CSA 1891. Took Oklahoma, Kansas from the Union and north half of Philipines, Puerto Rico from Spain. Austria continues to swallow up more and more of Prussia. Scandinavia fractures.

What the?

Doesn't matter really, I can't take on the Teutonic Order right now (I'm Novgorod), as I just ended a war with Muscowy taking all but their capitol, so my infamy is pretty high now.
