Looks like KSP has changed quite a bit since the last time I tried it. Before, the most interesting thing you could do was achieve escape velocity and play Space Oddity as you drifted away, forever.

Now you can go to the moon, even if you'll probably just crash into it.

My server dominated our last 24 hour WvWvW match up, not that either of our opponents were a real challenge (our server is about mid-way in the rankings). From here on out is all week long matches which should prove to be very interesting.

I got hooked on the demo recently. In that, you can indeed land on the moon and I did that quite a few times. Sometimes even made it back to Kerbin! I know there's already Minmus in the latest version, but having a load of new planets to explore would definitely make me want to buy the full game.
