WARNING: Most of these images are from Battlefield 2 and I've tried to only choose interesting/funny ones. So you may not appreciate them all if you haven't played BF2. This game has brought me so many laughs with the hilarious community/things that go on in BF2.

This was when I had no internet for a few weeks:

And this is just some plain old showing off, Infantry only.

On both of the "lagging" pic, it doesn't look like you're lagging but the round is ending. Every single time that the round ends I get "There is a problem with your connection.

The round usually just abruptly ends with a fleeting second of seeing 0 (for me anyway). It's only rare that it lags like that.

It depends on the server you play on.

3 pictures from Celestia.

The Earth's dark side.

The Sun in the background, Mars in the foreground.

Yeah, my mouse stopped working so I just tabbed over to quick reply, here's the third.

sunfrompluto.png

The Sun from Pluto, Earth circled.

What game is that anyway?

I got coaxed into getting Forged Alliance last week, so here's a screenie of me just messing around with it:

Yes, I did use cheats, but im just trying to see how different things work.

Also, it runs surprisingly well on my computer, albeit at 1024x768 and lowest settings, but hey, it still runs.

For the longest while, my friend and I happily used the 'attack/defend/capture' call to show each other important points of the battlefield. We didn't realise this was affecting our one computer player in one skirmish, until we suddenly saw it pick up it's entire army after hitting a 'defend here.'

I pity the tank who next comes to get you.

Company of Heroes?

That is most definitely CoH, and on one of my favorite maps too! Usually, Im in Vent or Skype when playing though, so I can vocally tell friends to help me out, although usually it ends up being something like "Get your lazy nazi ass over here and help me defend!"

 Me too, though I'm normally moaning at my friends to launch some sort of offensive to distract the enemy. I'm a big fan of playing the American armoured, so it takes a wee while before I'm at my best, and need my allies to take the brunt of the early battles.

The American armored is the only decent tree the americans have. But usually I play as the regular Germans with Defensive tree if im not playing KMOD. ( I absolutely love the 88's)

I like the Airborne route, particularly for paratroopers and the bomber skills. It's foiled by the fact I would happily go for the armoured route even if it were just one boost - the Calliope.

Well, since I havent played in a while, I tried an easy game against two Easy US CPU's

Needless to say, they got their rear end handed to them by me. Here's the battlefield right after I won:
Spoiler :
relic00000.jpg

Here are my STuG 42's (From the blitzkrieg tree) coming in on one side with a Tiger and Panzer IV on the other. The infantry in the middle is 3 squads of Grenadiers and one German airborne

Spoiler :
relic00001.jpg

My AI ally could have easily crushed the cpu but instead decided to just stay right outside their base.

Spoiler :
relic00002.jpg

Many German lives were lost taking that point. But, fortunately, more US lives were lost losing it :)

Spoiler :
relic00003.jpg

The bombed out port complex. Somehow the buildings survived 7 arties, 3 280mm rocket drops and a strafing run :it is a mystery:

EDIT - as you can see, I have discovered the virtues of the Blitzkrieg tree. Since the last time I played, they have really changed it up, and for the better in my opinion. No longer does the Urban assault STuG suck. Now its a walking howitzer

Pretty new to Silent Hunter 3, but this is from my second career, 17th patrol. My first career lasted all of 4 days. This one has been going strong since '39 baby. U-107

Spoiler images :

Bit of terrible weather. I had my engine stall from waves a couple times. This was about 500km west of Alexandria. In the image I am on the surface, cruising. The waves are covering the boot.

The final tally of one of the most hair raising patrols yet. I decided after making 3 easy merchant kills to head to Alexandria and see if I could find some warships docked. I didn't, but I did manage to sneak up on them at night and took out the destroyers with 1 torpedo each. The patrol boats were taken out by my deck gun. I lost the men via airplane strafing on the way home after I sank the fourth merchant. Somehow my hull integrity did not falter in the strafing.
