That can't be more than a 5 minute walk, especially if you cut across the grass and cross the street. I do a 12-15 minute walk every day to work and back.

What
(guy in top left was a Mordvin Suomenusko who somehow showed up on my (gujarat) doorstep, demanded he be made marshal, and ended up converting to Jainism)
Other fun things from that game:
- Karl died, Carloman won... except then he died and the empire split up
- Serbia ended up becoming what is proto-Yugoslavia, made Croatia primary title, and then split up
- the Duchy of Lithuania is ruled from Scania which is a vassal of the Tribal Danish King
- Somehow the Pannonian leaders are Avar, but it's not Avaria.

Hedwig is a Germanic girl's name. Harry's owl is female, after all.

Finished XCOM: Enemy Unknown in two days and this was the only good screenshot I got. EDIT: Hard to see, but its one of my guys getting royally boned. He was on his second mission though so w/e.

I named a few soldiers after people here, they mostly died on their first mission (Kan, Captain2, Subi in particular). I survived right up to the end, almost, I got knocked out and stabalized. Out of the exactly 400 aliens I killed, I think sniper Rubrum killed 23-25% of them and survived the game.

I did save scum a few times though, but mostly just when I felt the deaths were a little too cheap (god damn zombies).

And that is the curse of personalisation.

I am building a town in Minecraft on a hill. It's looking good so far, but I need ideas to fill this large void. It's rather small though. So far here are the plans:

The neighbourhoods are placeholders for the height of certain areas of the town.

So, can anyone help me?

Poor Hedwig. Her farther gained independence for Sweden and regained its cores from Denmark, vassalised Holstein (peacefully) and Norway. He also made land gains into russian lands cutting Moscovy off from the Baltic.

When he died in 1493 Hedwig looked like she would be set to carry on her father's great work. Sadly her reign lasted just over 5 years. Lets hope Oskar can do more!

Wow, that' looking pretty impressive already. As for help, what kind of architectural style are you going for? I might be able to throw up some random building templates I've come up with for certain styles (Mostly Mesoamerican, but I also have done quite a few Indian/Middle-Eastern/Egyptian and European style as well).

Also, been hard at Final Fantasy XIV. I seem to have finally found my calling as one of the DPS leaders in my guild, with Black Mage being my primary class, followed by Dragoon, which are my two favorite classes so far.

Here's a pic of me in my high-end BLM gear (basically with this gear, I theoretically could run any dungeon in the game), including what is currently the third best in slot weapons for Black Mages, the Laevateinn staff:

And here's a pic of my Dragoon gear set, which isn't nowhere near as awesome as my Black Mage set, due to hitting the level cap only last week as dragoon:

Why thank you! that was exactly the look I was going for. :) Of course, the new craftable pince-nez glasses they added to the game with the latest update definitely helped with that (not to mention I have Goldsmithing at max level).

You really nailed the sexy librarian look.

Yeah, this.

I've been playing around a bit with stock KSP 0.25, basically trying a few ideas and figuring out how I want to structure my career space program once beta is released. So I have a couple screenshots for you:

Scootypuff Jr.
A bunch of dudes on Reddit are making Scootypuffs in KSP. Here's the test flight for one of mine, probably going to be stuffed in a spaceplane and used as a fun transfer vehicle.

Failing at Spaceplanes
I seriously cannot build an SSTO to save my life. This is the best performing one, but it's ceiling is around 17 km. I'm learning, though. This one has basically no cargo space, it's intended to bring crew changes up to a space station once I put one in orbit in an inexpensive manner. I'm going really kerbal with all the intakes, but I think it kinda looks cool.

Yeah, I'm going for an European style for small villages.

Been playing a game on Steam called Salt. It's like a little survival game and you can set sail on the ocean to find new islands.
