Battlefield 1942.

Did you blow up that plane or something? ( Oh, I like the choice of map, Bocage, my favorite)

Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

All those chaos bodies, not a single necron one.

ONE termie did that. all of it.

For the last picture the terminator appears to have encountered loads of cultists (cannon fodder) and a squad of Chaos Marines so I'm not suprised. :)

And it's a first company terminator, not the standard issue one.

I had just blasted Hidden with my shotgun, it was a bit of a fluke as I couldn't see the blurr he makes (Subject 617 (aka Hidden) is invisible). He had stuck this poor guy's corpse to the cieling a only seconds prior. From the Half-Life 2 mod Hidden: Source. And yes, that is an x-box in that bin, there's an x-box on every level.

Ooh, I saw an article about The Hidden in PC Gamer, thought it was interesting and promptly forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.

Couple from CoH:

Beginning of a glorious battle. US Airborne troops did the job with minimal losses, good job boys:

I didn't pause the game to take a screenshot, I paused because I was in so much shock from half the frickin' map exploding on me. Artillery incoming indeed.

You should see the amount of Artillery in Opposing Fronts. If you think that was a lot, then OF will blow your mind..

In the demo I played Carenten twice, first tiem I maanaged to eke out a victory at the church, second time I was slaughtered. The neemy stugs just blasted throguh my VERY THICK defenses at each of the bridges, or rolled right through >.>

Spoiler Some Stalker shots. I think the game looks beautiful. :

you do know that tanks can just roll right over sandbags, razor wire and etc? the only thing that stops a light tank are tank traps, and if its a heavy, then not even those will work. Your best bet is setting up some mg's, an at gun or two and keeping a rifle squad around just in case.

Did that.

I think someones suggestion of two AT guns at each bridge is the better one.

Gotta have a MG nest or two. Otherwise, kiss those AT's goodbye. While good vs tanks and whatnot, any infantry squad can take them out ( unless the AI becomes extremely ********). Even still, ive yet to see anything beat a defense of 2 flakverlings, an 88 and a MG bunker...couple it with a few Panzer hunters and you've got yourself a nice wall for the allied riflemen to go *splat* on

Company of Heroes is rated MA15= down here, but looking at the shots I can't actually see why. :/

It's because you can use the crab flail(for disarming mines and clearing forests) to grind down enemy infantry into bloody pieces, lots of em. Also there's a lot of swearing. But anyway, it's not like you should be stopped by age restrictions.

On that mission each of the bridges were mined and then blocked by sandbags/wire. It takes out at least one vehicle each, though I was royally pissed off to watch one tank blow up nine mines before it was finally stopped.

After that there's a small maze of wire and sandbags before the Germans reach my proper defences, which are machine-guns, AT guns and a squad of Airborne with the recoilless rifle upgrade. MG nests I put a little further back, should the worst happen. They had a hard time getting through that, and that's without the engineer/snipers scattered throughout the buildings :D

Nope, my annoyance was that artillery strike, which appeared to have been a scripted event as it took out everything across the map. Until then I had only lost three guys (they deserved it for not running out of the way of a tank). This strike wiped out about a dozen.

In the second screenshot just below the "game paused" covering the sand bag wall is a headless one armed torso. There is also the swearing as Cleric mentioned. It is enjoyable however to hear Yankees scream "What the hell is that thing?!" when you have a Konigstiger break down a wall behind them.

Why on Earth would I WANT to grind the enemy into lots of bloody pieces. And no, I'm not stopped unless it's R, pretty much.

EDIT: Noticed the headless one-armed torso, and it's no worse then Soldiers. Except it falls apart correctly.
