I've fonud Heros 2 is hard, but that's probably because I'm a newb at it. The enemy keeps getting bigger armeis than me more easily.

2 & even 3 had a steep learning curve. It was quite merciless. I'm refering to the campaigns of course - in the scenarios it was always harder.
Aparently they learned their lesson - in 5 there's a leaner difficulty curve. Maybe you should try a demo or smthing one day.

I was in a level 5 pursuit, and I hit a roadblock car at around 400 km/h. The result:

He flew around 100 feet into the air and 100 to 200 feet ahead of me, flipping and barrel rolling all the way.

I think you mean sighting a German tank, you're in a Soviet tank.

Love that game, but I hate that map, Leningrad is a pain in the butt to defend, the allies often get steamrolled (though for two rounds in a row we once held out at the first objective for 12-15 minutes before getting steamrolled).

The only level I hate more than that one is the one where you charge up the bombed-out hill.

I adore that level, and the hill one. Glorious destruction, and particularly satisfying to come out alive on the other side

yeah thats my Favourite level in that game simply because of the WW1 feel to it
