(Semi-OT) FfH forum game awareness

I really can't tolerate him, and I really don't want to lose players over him. That's reason enough for me.

You don't have to tolerate him, you're the GM. The players have to tolerate him. Ask their opinion first, at least!

I fear taking a step towards your Utopia. :p

It just seems unfair: kill fire hasn't played a NotW game before (truckingpete's game hasn't started yet, but he's playing in that) and has done nothing do deserve getting excluded. He hasn't spoken when dead, posted a PM or feigned GM contact, the three 'must-not-dos' of NotW; thus, there is no rational reason to exclude him.

What's the big deal? I simply want to spare the game from being spoilt.

Hmm. I looked twice, and each time your post was different...

You may be right. Maybe NotW players don't want kill fire, but I for one would like to find out the practical way.

The 'big deal' was explained above. It is unfair. Utopia or no, he's done nothing to warrant exclusion.

kill fire should be able to play. If he's as terrible as you proclaim Jono, then when there's actual evidence of it you can do as you wish.

yeah... i seem to recall you had no qualms about random killings of a character midway through the game :mischief:
though you had a legit reason, you though i had broken the rules.

can you tell us what kill fires don to make you so annoyed?

I want to play, I'm finally coming home and will be good for gamage this weekend. Yay.

Thank you, Catharsis. Unfortunately, I have just learned that I will be away from home for an additional seven days. Next time I leave town, the damn civ disk is coming with me! Maybe it will be harder to get work done, but I'd rather have my projects delayed than go through the delirium tremens again!

The NotW series has seemed to be slowing down... Hope that it will rise again! Though I don't want them to be as massive as the biggest ones, with nearly 40 participants. For example NotW IV was really good, enough participants but not too much. Or maybe I think it's so excellent example, because I won it as a werewolf mayor. :mischief:

i agree, they get to big, and you can't kep track if there are over twenty people.

and 4 was a great game: you, unser, Bris as wolves, and Me as an Amaziing GM.

I'm back!

Can't wait to get back into some NOTW gaming :)

Heh, well I had you sussed. Of course, there are two reasons why this wouldn't have helped:
a) I was a lurker at the time, and
b) I didn't have Brisingamen sussed  - thought the wolf was Immortius.

Oh, and it's nice to see that cvlowe survived TEH ALIENZ. ;)

If i wasn't Gm, i don't think i would have had Bris figured either. i would have thought of Unser, and maybe you Hitti...

I personally liked ethergar's solution for NotW VIII. 30 players, but 15 in each thread. The 28 I had in NotW VII was still workable, I think, but yeah, Jono's massive number of players just seems excessive. :p
