@Tak- to have a mainland conquest we would have to have a new map which would really change the focus of the scenairo away from Japan. Plus in the time period we've been looking at is way, way past mongol, etc., invasions.

Well, I´ve been celebrating my birthday, but winter holidays have started and I ain´t been logging on every day. Also, I´m a member of other forums, mind you, and playing DotA on LAN is too much fun to let it pass...

Hey, now I remember: you said something about health problems. What happened to you? Taking your age into account I hope it´s not gout... mom has it already and she´s not even 50...

No, I don't have gout - not every old man has it. Just the infirmities of old age. Now that you are a year older are your parents going to give you more computer time? [mischief smiley deleted] That's right, it's winter down there; it was 114 deg F. here the day before yesterday.

Have you thought more about this foreign war thing? I don't think it's the way to go.

Thought? During the winter holidays? Not on your nelly! But I agree that it´s not such a good idea after all! And it´s not such a winter... last week we had 25ºC.
What about light armored units, in bamboo armor, like archers, horse archers, and so on, and iron-armored heavy troops?

TAK - it's so strange to hear you talking of winter when I'm sweating my cahona's off and winter here is a good 4-5 months away.....

I have an announcement to make.
This scenario has grown way past my goals of a quick and simple makeover. In order to make it correctly would require more time and expertise on the subject than I have. I asked 7Ronin to take the lead on this project and he graciously accepted. I have sent him the file of the working model and a copy of all the resources I have collected over the past few months. I will contribute as much as I can to this project, mostly graphically, but my focus has switched to my sci-fi mod which I had started about a year ago that I recently came into a wealth of graphics and units for.

So without any further ado, this is now officially 7Ronin's scenario. He's in charge and lets give him all the support we can.....

Well, my plans are pretty much to carry on in the spirit of things and vision already started by Storm Grunt, who thankfully will I hope still be around from time to time. I am also counting on the support of my right hand man Tak to keep us going.

I was just curious about your thoughts on how the AI uses the daimyo king units with their new more aggressive settings.

Heya! Can you send me that file, either of you? I´d like it very much if I could see how you did it. PM me!
Also, we could add iron mining, gold/silver mining, and so on... also, we should change wheat for rice... or maybe both? i like noodles.

I´m back from my holidays! They didn´t turn out quite as well as they should -even so, we spent 49 coins on House of the Dead alone - but i still survived. Why could? Must, for Elune´s sake!!!!!!!

We could also build some regional SWs, like the Shimonoseki Straits, Osaka Harbour, Nagasaki Harbour, and so on...
