Chieftain
Hi guys,
For my personal game I have made a set of popheads which just make more sense to me.
Key Changes:
Skin Tone Alterations:
Its always miffed me how all of women in particular looked to be European. I know of course that there's diversity within groups but the Middle Eastern and American women were lighter skinned than the Mediterranean one!
The American woman in my eyes remains/becomes ethnically ambiguous like her male counterpart, while for the Middle Eastern woman I made the decision to make her dark skinned - maybe Somali or South Asian or a particularly sun weathered Arabian woman. The Mediterranean man is slightly darker, to put him more in Southern European territory
As for the East Asian woman, it always miffed me how (especially for the content face), she actually seemed to have the widest eyes of all the female pop-heads. I have narrowed the eyes and for stages 2-4 applied red lipstick in line with some traditional art styles from East Asia (for example this portrait of Wu Zetian: https://www.chinawhisper.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Wu-Zetian.gif)
But anyway... Let me know what you think, if all looks good I'll upload the PCX!

Spoiler All-New Popheads :
On the new pophead, I consulted a friend I know who studies the history of the Native Peoples of the Americas as I always thought it was a weird pophead and he said unless its Southwestern he has no clue what its supposed to be - another friend (who has a more casual interest vs a professional one) said it looked like something from Medieval France. I remodelled her after a portrait of Pocahontas (see above) instead, after looking at portraits of Pocahontas, Sacagawea, and Isabel Moctezuma.
Spoiler Specialist Reshuffle :
The specialists... I didnt like having a Monk in Anc, Anthony and Cleopat-Collectors in Mid, and a court Jester in Ind (esp considering Med has a Show Dancer!). I still don't like the cheerleader and the shaman tax-collectress is now out of place but for me its an improvement. (Watch this space...)
But anyway... Let me know what you think, if all looks good I'll upload the PCX!
