In this Thread i will post some more generic, less fantasylike Medieval Units i`ll do. This is no real request thread, you still can give me Hints or Suggestions.

-Pikeman reskin and Heavy Crossbow (using Chokuno body with Pikeman Head, -> use Chokuno animation!)

-alternative Arquebusier (using Rifleman animation, the rifle doesnt work to be used like the actual rifleman does, but i really really like him and use him personally )

-First Part of the "Medieval Army Construction Kit"

It includes 2 folders, models and skins, in the models section you will find the different weapon classes for the men at arms (Maceman model + 2 with Settler head), the Foot Knight (more fantasy with big shoulder armor) and Foot Knight Light (without shoulder armor) and Mounted Yeoman (maceman on horse by Rabbit White) it includes Sword and Shield, Axe, Bihander, Hammer, Hammer and Shield. and in the skin section you find the different skinned armors, which can be copied into the models folders, to replace the skin (which is already in the folder for testing purposes) and by this create unique combos for medieval Soldiers.
This Kit will be expanded to include more weaponclasses and skins.
download here and have fun playing around with it

-Second Part of the "Medieval Army Construction Kit"

-Crusader Skins
-some more nice Armor Skins
-new models for Men at Arms, foot Knight Light and Spanish:
Spearmen, Pikemen, Archer, Crossbowmen, Mounted Yeoman with Spear and Shield :P (thanks to alaskans Technique)
-Civ flavoured Skins: England, France (2 each)
(The Screenshot shows only a small excerpt of what is included :P)
have a look, play around and remember, as every Unit is based on the Macemanmodel, you can use every Skin included in both Packs for any Soldier included!
Happy constructing and if you think something is missing, leave me a pic and ill have a look!

I like it, great work seZereth :goodjob:

Yeah that Crossbowman looks really good  but you know, you could replace him completely with the pikeman.

I really like them. Expect me to visit this thread frequently :)

You mean by the Alaskan technique?! that sometimes yields strange disproportioning (like with most of the mounted units you provided).

Or do you mean by giving the rifleman model a crossbow and switch animation? that could actually work, as giving the chokuno melee animation works fine.

Thanks! I needed an Arquebusier (and a Heavy Crossbowman, and a new Pikeman, and a medieval swordsman, and a medieval archer, and ... ;))

What disproportions? The worst I see is that sometimes the knees or the shoulders aren't perfectly aligned, but you barely notice it even zoomed in, let alone during regular play.

Ok, easiest part of the "Medieval Unit construction set" has been uploaded. Hope they will find their way into a nice Medieval Mod or Scenario (it is big fun watching them). Try around switching Skins ;)

Perhaps Rabbit could produce a Maceman-Archer and Maceman-Pikeman/Spearman by Alaskans Technique?! cause i wont have time to do so until next week :(

My Men-at-Arms already contain a maceman with spear and shield works nice with phalanx so why alaskans technic for this:confused:
Btw this kit is very useful, thx. What about some units spanish style(Estalia)?:D

Estalia shouldnt be a big problem ;) but isnt hi on priority list :/

Maceman Phalanx works, i know (empire spearman) but his hand is twisted (ok, one doesnt notice it that much ;) ) would be happy about pikeman and archer at least!

The arquebusier i find especially impressive. The rifle you borrowed from the musketeer is naturally a little blurry though. Always thought it could look sharper. Maybe with the distinct firing mechanism? Anyone ever thought of reskinning the musketeer and actually giving him a sword at his waist?

You mean something like this ;)...

You can download this guy here (first zip). It does however use the sword, not the musket. If you want to add the sword to the musketeer as just a decoration it's almost trivial, I could tell you exactly how to do it.

Wow seZ, the second contruction kit looks great  (you sure do love the maceman model ;))

@Chamaedrys: Heh heh, thanks, the blood and the sword trail are photoshoped in :)
