Sorry for the delay on this - work distracted me more than I was expecting. Time to kick Huayana's big Incan behind!
IHT (1694): How did we end up at 1694? Meh.
Upgrade a couple of units near Machu Picchu to deal with that Incan stack.
Turn 1 (1696):
Another big stack shows up. I reckon we can take them, but we're going to lose a few improvements down here.
I turn off science to pay for a few upgrades.
Turn 2 (1698):
Great Work in Olly ends the resistance, but doesn't help much with the borders. Meh.
Turn 3 (1700):
Huayana attacks Macchu between turns, with the following results:
Not too shabby on our part - if I can clear up those remnants we'll be quids in.
Turn 4 (1702 AD):
Remnants cleared, with a little help from the defenders of Good Enough (they were). In the North we're marching on Cuzco, although there's a shortage of artillery since I'm waiting to upgrade to cannons.
Turn 5 (1704):
Our expeditionary force of a cavalry and a grenadier capture Vilcas in the north. Two musketmen are en route from Beijing to defend it.
Turn 6 (1706):
Zzzz.
Turn 7 (1708):
A Knight on grassland beats up our cavalry, with a 5% chance of success. Gah!
Turn 8 (1710):
I notice we're running no Economic civic when Free Market is available - what are we smoking here? Revolt immediately.
Turn 9 (1710 again, apparently. *shrugs*):
Not a lot - we're moving into position.
Turn 10 (1712):
Djenne (Mali) falls to Japan - it looks like Toku's about to wipe out Mansa. We could do with catching up to Japan pretty soon here.
That should help, though
It's even got an Academy intact, too.
It looks like the Inca exhausted their primitive military attacking Machu Picchu (and weren't particularly close to taking it; we got down to about 5 units in there for a turn or so). Show them no mercy - we need all the territory we can get, and our economy can comfortably handle it.
A global overview. You'll notice that Basra is surounded by mixed culture - good sign, that.
And some demographics. Nice, huh?
