SGOTM 06 - Misfits

if not this map, then a similar map with a similar start point would be great. I can fiddle with WB or if someone else has xp doing so i'd say do that. I will replay this game alone, and would be willing for a practice SG based on the same settings.

I dont know about the importance of the same settings....
The basic idea is getting more XP as a team and beeing able to communicate and stuff... While learning.

Why knows what Gyathar and Co will think of for the next SGOTM? So map dont matter that much... Even version... will it be Vanilla, Warlords or BtS? I think / hope BtS, but... one cannot know... or even WHEN a new one will start... my guess would be May 1st? Maybe? If not then June 1st

In another thread ('Next SGOTM??') in 'Civ4 - Succession GOTM', Gyathaar said that it depends on the release of the final patch ... will be BtS or Vanilla ...

Planning to have the next SGOTM in BtS, so waiting for the final BtS patch to come out before starting it
(unless the patch take a very long time.. then perhaps will make a vanilla SGOTM first.. dont know)

That is good but for some reason, I do not have permission to ascess the upload page. That has never happened to me before and I have no idea what I did or how to fix it.

The Chockonuts ran into some trouble, and we're going to slip into the seventh slot. Not bad for a new team with some middle of the road players (me)... I think we're just going to keep getting better!

Hey Guys, anyone up for the next challenge? Anyone ready to lose with me in SGOTM07, after we've done not THAT BAD in this game?

Anyway, I'll join in, and I would like to lose with you, as it's a OCC-challenge with Qin Shi Huang on a tiny map with all Vanilla-rivals ... and to top it, it's DEITY-level

Hey Guys,

I took the freedom to PM a new player (haphazard1) that namliaM and I have met in a 'normal' SG-game we joined after SGOTM06 was over, to ask him if he would care to join us on the next adventure.
He already signed up, and he seems to at least know what Civ is about, and he also likes to discuss, just as we do .

I think he would fit well in our team, and if it's OK for you, he is willing to join us.

But if you don't want a specially-chosen new player, just say it!!!
It will be OK for me, and haphazard1 will simply wait for the Admins to choose his new team.

a closer knit team will help, so if you both enjoy his progress and are familiar with him, the better it is. no objections here. if everyone signs up again, a 6-7 man team seems to be a perfect size for this game, since we'll all get one turnset before the ai ravages us. LOL
