Then I've failed again . In spite of my best efforts to persuade you, you haven't read the SGOTM Reference Thread:

I would have assumed that since the winner was the fastest, the loser would naturally be the slowest. Obviously I was wrong.

Assumptions are always dangerous, and they are unnecessary when there are facts readily to hand. There's no guarantee that SGOTMs will always be won by the fastest required victory.

Thanks for the game, just annoyed I couldn't really get going with it due to lack of a PC (no way my wife was going to let me use her laptop long enough for a set of turns).

...and... we didn't come last? Wow!
