DD+1 now, Roosy is down to 1 city. But still refuses to talk.

We on track to clearing all fallout in 3 turns.

I have x19 Gandhi's power, x20 churchill's power, x23.6 Roosy's power, x41 Mao's, x58 DeG's

I'll upload at the beginning of next turn.
 
Can we try demanding 1 gold from the AI? It will engage forced peace.

Contrary to popular thought, the AI CAN and will declare even if there is a power discrepancy if it thinks it has built enough military units compared to when it went into war prep mode. So there is a small risk that the AI will declare on us... Hence my suggestion for getting forced peace with the AI. I don't *think* gold demands can trigger war given our power discrepancy.

All? the AI don't have gold or gold per turn to demand unfortunately.

I leave it to you guys to double check the fallout situation. I think I can finish it all in 3 turns.

I'm building stuff for max score just because I'm bored.

We can switch civics this turn to increase research rate.

I can also continue to build military units if you think that would discourage the AI from attacking.

We can use spies perhaps to put AI cities into revolt so they stop producing military units (making DoW less likely I assume)

I say put a big stack outside of each AI city, finish clearing the fallout, and get this game over with. I doubt they will DOW on us.
 
BTW, building infrastructure (e.g. supermarkets, RIs, etc.) does not increase score directly (although less unhealthiness could lead to added pop, which would increase score). Learning techs, growing cities, expanding cultural borders (although there is a time lag for land score) and building wonders does increase score if you're trying to milk a bit.

Can't imagine they'd refuse 1gpt, given our power ratio. Not too sure how this works, actually. We'd probably need to give a lot of cash, but we certainly have a lot. Maybe worthwhile? We could try it with one AI and see what it takes.

Otherwise, it looks done. :thumbsup:
 
I don't think we need to worry about the AI's declaring war on us. Even if they did there is nothing they could do to stop us winning.

One of the victory conditions says that we have to be at peace with all AIs (except Stalin, of course)...

I just tried giving gold and gold per turn in a test game. I was not able to demand either back... but I only tried two or three times in small amounts.
 
We're fine like mdy says. I re-read the rules:

Teams will not be penalized for events outside the team's control, such as:
  • one AI killing the other before the team has the opportunity to prevent it
  • one AI declares war on team after the launch
  • one AI launch a nuke after the launch ....etc.
  • any fallout that may appear on unreachable terrain does NOT need to be cleaned up.
 
Okay so I'll play another 3 turns then and clean up fallout.

I won't worry about the AI declaring war, despite my dream during my nap that Gandhi nuked Churchill :lol: As Mitchum pointed out we will not be penalized for events outside of our control.

I was and will continue to build health buildings to increase our pop, build wonders, tech many great things and clean up the fallout for 3 turns. After that upload for final check then play out the final 3 turns.

I'll play again the 3 cleanup turns only in a few hours unless someone stops me.
 
I could have done it in 1 turn if you guys let me use the nuke ;)

I'll stop 3 turns from now to show you guys that the fallout is all cleaned up then play out the game today if you guys give me the all clear.
 
Okay I believe that is all the fallout (and we are getting 30 food/turn from sushi :eek: )

Uploaded for your review, then I will play it out with almost only wealth/research builds.

Silver City founded at last! :)
New Troy founded (old Troy was destroyed due to excessive enthusiasm and an attempt to get peace from Roosy)

And several other cities founded because I could.
