Ultraviolet Catastrophe
Green light from me to play until Agri is done. But wouldn't it be safer to have warrior Lotus keep to the forests for the first 2 turns, rather than move straight south? Petty detail...
AH reveals horses.I think we need to know where the copper is. We also need to chop trees. I think bronze working is more important than pasturing the sheep. If REX is our goal, we need to chop out settlers and more workers. And at worst, the worker can mine the gold while we wait for animal husbandry to come in. I still vote Agriculture -> Bronze Working -> Animal Husbandry.
AH reveals horses.
A river grass sheep gives 5F2C, how can you pass up on that? If it's hammers you want then consider the fact that the city will grow to size 4 quickly and can then 2-pop whip workers. Getting power tiles like this up early is what fuels a good REX. And yes, I want to pasture sheep before mining the gold.
If nobody agrees with AH then I will have to try to prove it with test games, but the decision doesn't have to be made for this mini set of turns so I don't mind playing on.
Reason for late oracle = Aggressive AI -- they prioritize wonders less. I'd definitely like to get CS or something similar with the Oracle here.
Is it automatically created by the web site when I upload the game?
Fifth Element, Maple Sporks, One Short Straw and I believe also Misfit Gypsy Nuts all settled on turn 0 (4000 BC). Unusual Suspects and Kakumeika settled on turn 1 (3960 BC). Phoenix Rising, Plastic Ducks and Xteam haven't uploaded saves yet.
Interesting that four teams decided settling on turn 0 is optimal.
