Rammy will give me all his gold for Philo or Education, but only 305 gold for Machinery = he is teching Machinery.

Yes - Qin is at Friendly. I traded Philo to Rammy for 350 gold. No one else has any thing of value to give us for Philo right now, so no other trades.

War declared, our troops have moved into position, and Pi-Ramesses has fallen.

However, Memphis is now defended by a LB (CG1), a HA (C2), a sword (C1), a WC (C2), and a catapult. He suicided 2 cats against our stack (3 maces, XB, and 5 trebs). Our XB was injured by the cats and is at 1.7 hp, and we don't have enough units to take Memphis this turn. I am inclined to move our stack towards Thebes and get Thebes from Brennus for peace next turn. I have a chariot in the area which can move into Thebes if we take it this turn, but it would probably lose the city to a HA. Alternatively we could move the Memphis stack back onto the galleons.

Heliopolis is currently defended by 2 LBs, but our next won't get there until next turn, and will need a turn to knock down the cultural defense, so it will probably be reinforced.

I am inclined to move (edit: the Memphis forces) toward Thebes and consolidate our forces (edit: after taking Heliopolis and getting Thebes).

How injured are the Maces? Is anything at or near promotion? I'm tempted just to attack Memphis with everything.
Its not on a hill, so 5 trebs will collateral the crap out of everything there.
Can the Chariot make it to Memphis this turn?

What does our Heliopolis stack contain?, tempted to not bother about Cultural defenses, and just attack with everything.

Memphis maces: CR3 = 6.2 hp, CR3 = full health, CR2 = 7 hp.

My concern is even if we treb the crap out of everything, he'll whip a LB next turn. Granted we could attack again with the trebs that withdrew. Hmm...

No the chariot is on the Heliopolis side of Thebes.

The Heliopolis stack has 2 trebs, 5 maces, a XB. and pike, and a super-medic. We could take Heliopolis next turn.

My main concern is every turn we don't is another LB, or HA.
And if we don't attack, his HA will attack us and inflict flanking damage. HA's a re great at attack, sucky at defence.
