[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Oh, you're thinking just farm GG points? I was thinking get a couple hundred conquest gold. (plus my pillage plan)

It can't be 27xp
Pillaging doesn’t create WW either. He’s so weak capture gold will cause little WW if we wise.

I think we don’t need many muskets.

Looks like Clams city size 10 will only have 1 turn of 1 angry citizen T129 cus it doesn't have the REP bonus.
That's worth it, cus the option would be to keep Cows at size 9, but I prefer 10. Especially if we really are drafting later.

Drafting anger looks good too. Profit can draft twice.
Galley1 should sail all the way back to help transport muskets--leaving just one galley managing missionaries to peter. With current miss. going to the mainland. Next one (if there ever is one) can go to IronCity.

With Profit doing scout(2), Trireme(2) (then dropping but still doing 6-8hpt in GAge)
It can manage workboat (4)

Cows should probably start the whales' whales wb now.
Is Nationalism on our Biology path?
Oh yeah, you asked that an I forgot to respond. Organic research remaining for Biology is so small, so we can bounce back and forth between tech we need for bio and tech for sushi and tech that's just beneficial.
Nationalism is both beneficial and on the path to sushi (corporation)

Figure 900 bpt.

Once the GAge starts,
All Bio needs is:

Eng, less than 2t
PPress 1t (plus bulb)
Chem 1.5t (bulb)
GunPowder (2)
SciMeth 0.5t
Bio 0.5t

That's only 7 turns of research
but waiting on 7 GSs

Earlier, I pointed out that if we go for all GS's and get a little lucky, we could skip the 2nd GAge and get Bio waay earlier.
An argument for not doing the GM in Whales.
We only need to be really lucky on the 1st Canal and Profit GPs.

News flash! Flashes actually

Hey, I just panned out, and now that Profit's borders expanded, we can see yellow culture (Holy Romans for sure)
We will meet him the turn we get Optics. We don't even need a caravel.
That's the 2nd AI we coulda met if we woulda had a sentry chariot on a galley.
But it wasn't until T122 borders that we coulda done Holy Romans.

Hey, that gives me an idea. If we park our galley at Yakutsk - 3E, it will instantly meet an AI.
The galley can be there as early as T128.

Next turnset is gonna be complicated. We could have the whole world mapped out T129 or 130 if we want. And 2 AI met. The Trireme will be a bit late at Profit.

This chariot must come from science city where there is enough organic hammer to complete a stable+ chariot. Otherwise a 2 whip is needed somewhere else ( probably clams or cows) Or just defer golden age a bit and 2 whip the 2nd caravel?

Too late this game with Optics coming. I was just sayin' earlier a team might have done this. LC is always talking about sentry chariots so I was just giving him a +1 for next time he was going to push for one.

Would we kill SB DEAD?
Now that I think about it. We won't need shared war that long, and it's not like we can share a war with everyone. They don't know SB.
Let's get all the conquest gold we can and pillage everything. That way we bring our muskets home, and total conquest is still on the table.
The more I think about the cramped area the other 4 AI share, and the ice age map, they have to be easy targets.

Then there's Peter who has Knights? already. Well maybe he needs HBR. We won't see a unit the tough from the other AI.

Quick morning thoughts:

1. If our manual research outstrips GS production, maybe that’s an argument for more GMs. GSes don’t get the 20% beaker bonus or the library/uni/Oxford bonuses. Should we be targeting quickest Sushi rather than quickest Bio?

2. If we already know we will meet 2 AIs with Optics, do we really need two caravel 50g upgrades?

3. If we do see entire world ~T130, we’ll learn about Sushi resources. How much sushi minimally pays off? This might determine whether more GMs and fewer GSes is appropriate.

3.a. We’ll also learn if conquest is possible.
