Galley 3 drops off Great Merchant into Silver City T134.
My test showed a drop off T133.in Silver City. sailing back T134.

What is the 'peter galley' ? we have three galleys. And the one dropping the missionary has to hover sorta near the gray/white culture in case optics comes our way

How did you get a Great Merchant from our capital on T130 to Silver City by T133?

Peter Galley is the one dropping off missionary.
Trade mission is more important than meeting a new AI that won't have much for us.

We have 100,000:science: worth of teching to do even after the 8 bulbs and liberalism free tech.
I'm sure we'll have no trouble getting 50 turns in for Open Borders bonuses.

GM moves on 130, by 131 it's past Cows. Boards T132, jumps off boat 133 in Silver (can't move tho)
We can sail into ocean tiles in our culture.

Whether it boards T132 with road or T133 without road, I think it offloads T134 either way.

Cow City can make another Confu Missionary for Moscow, and it can go along with our Great Merchant.

That would let Moscow build Confu A.P. for us some day.
5 Confu cities would also help keep Russia in our religion long term.

I was looking at the wrong Galley! :o

The Galley currently south of Cow City can certainly drop off GM in Silver City on T133.

Shepherd does the tundra road to connect Science City and Cow City.

Galley picks up Great Merchant 4W3N of Cow City T132, sails 2NW, moves Great Merchant to 2nd Galley, then that sails 2NW.
T133, 2nd galley sails into Silver City and the Great Merchant walks west.
1st Galley sails back to Profit City to handle Great People for 2nd Golden Age.
2nd Galley follows 1st Galley after dropping off GM.

T134, the GM boards another Galley 2W of Whale City (3rd galley) that we recalled from Peter's lands, and it sails into Vlad on T140.
GM can then walk to Moscow and do Trade Mission on T144, or T143 if Peter roads east.
3rd galley can sail south to meet new AI around T141.

We would need the Confu Missionary to spread in Peter's iron city right now so that galley can sail to Whale City right now.

Cow City can make another Confu Missionary for Moscow, and it can go along with our Great Merchant.

That would let Moscow build Confu A.P. for us some day.
5 Confu cities would also help keep Russia in our religion long term.
If Cow City makes a Confu Missionary, we work a plains fur tile for +2:hammers: now T127, then the missionary will be born T131 and can join the Great Merchant going west to Moscow.
Galley's have room for 2 units.

Can we do Economics by T130?

We have 139:science: left in Music and 2184:science: to get Economics. (2323:science: total)
That is 2323/1.2 = 1936:science: RAW.

Assuming +403 RAW this turn, then we need 766:science: RAW on T128 and 767:science: RAW on T129. :hmm:

probably can't do that since we're not working max scientists on T128. I knew it would take some build research to have a chance at it, but we better just figure T131.
I think the galley was gonna be late anyway, so no difference
 
I don't think we can put any hammers into Chichen Itza right now even though almost every AI probably knows Code of Laws.
We don't know if it will pay out before Sushi, so Wealth is probably better.
 
I was just about to agree on the new miss only because his ride is here.
But we should save the 40.

My suggestion.
No new missionary.
Flip Peter into Slavery + OR so he can't be Tao next turn.
Spread to Vlad (cus the odds it gets free spread are too high)
We need to play the odds here or else he could end up whipping Tao missionaries.

Hope that Peter will spread Confu to all his cities (or at least some)

Our GM will have to find another way (if we even get a GM at 60% odds or whatever.

Technically, if we get all GS's, this one would only give ~1400 cus Astronomy is 3120.
The odds of getting a Great Merchant are almost guaranteed.

We will have 80% odds in Cow City on T136 and 70% odds in Profit City on T139.

All 3 Great People from T129 Canal, T136 Cow City, and T139 Profit City can be grouped up.
2 will be selected to trigger 2nd Golden Age on T140, and the last one we are free to use.
It will probably be a Great Merchant.

1300:gold: or 1500:gold: with Harbor should pay off more than a Great Scientist with all our multipliers, especially Oxford.
The beakers then get multiplied by 1.2 except for Astro.

If running out of money becomes a bottleneck, we could even do the trade mission in Peter's iron city on T139 for 1100:gold:

I like money because 100% :science: slider can be used to tech anything, not just narrow stuff on a bulb path.

Heh, alright, let's skip Economics and just go for Nationalism and Gunpowder then.
Max scientists and Great Scientists, no merchants.

Draft Muskets as soon as feasible, maybe even twice.
 
This feels right. Now galley3 can attend to the muskets east of ClamCity.
Peter Galley can meet white culture AI, and spread to Vlad.
The galley near whales can come down and take muskets from profit island to the mainland.

build wealth more now that we cut some of the merchants.

I think we will be very happy we hit SB hard and quick in the case where we decide to kill everyone else.
And at least we get WestPoint started even if we go diplo/religious win.
I'm not sure we can get to him before longbows tho.
