[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Every little detail...
we have a couple more free unit supply cost, so ...
Phil & Joan: on the way to wheat, move NE to Wheat-1S so they don't block forest growth.

This is better than what I said  (same general result, but we can get all the gold, or not, or maybe more?)
But there's no concern with 'before civic change'
Compass trade is T127
civics 128.
Right!
Forgive my occasional glitches. :hammer2:
Brain damage is a terrifying thing.

I will fire up the luck machine and light incense to get us 8 Great Scientists and 1 Great Merchant RNG.
Hopefully revision 37 of the GPP plan has no errors.

The pieces just aren't in place for an early war against Sitting Bull.
Knowing our luck, an early war would result in his Scouts standing on our food and blowing up the GPP plan.
It will probably occur T149 after the last Great Scientist bulb to finish Biology and Calendar trade.
Then we can tech Liberalism and get T150 Sushi. :)

Don't hold up for my (and LC's) green light. I have 4 late teleconferences starting soon.

I'm fine with the updated trade proposed by Kait.

what's with all the farms at Cows? I think I see 3 different ones?
With 10-15 food from Sushi, are these useful? It's not like we can grow to size 25.
I think being health-limited, we are likely to work a few big food tiles and specialists once we find a way back to caste.
But I have no other suggestions besides workshops. If we want to get into cast again, we need to build without whipping.
And if we are in slavery, and can only work 2 or 3 sci (with observatory), we're gonna grow out of control with farms.
Not important i guess. Green light

The plain river farm is so we can grow during 2nd golden age and get those 2 hammers.
The other farm is just for irrigation.

We can later put a workshop south of Cow City, mine or windmill the hill, and put some more workshops on the river tundras.

Later we will have worker turns to workshop everything when our buildings are done I think.

During 2nd golden age, if we are not growing Cow City we want to work the furs I think.

Other than tile improvements, all we can really do is chop more forests for catapults or Hermitage after Mirrorguard's turnset.

Scouts are no longer possible once we have Compass.
They become expensive Explorers.

GA is not a good time to grow. Ww will work scientists or we won't make it to sushi, but that's next turnset.
I'm worried that the need for merchants/gold is going to affect my estimates of our bpt and we will come up short.

Ok.

@MirrorGuard

Can you change the farm 2N of Cow City to a Workshop?

Thanks!

Turnset report
T127
After giving Peter banking for compass and civic switch, his cash goes down to 0.
After canceling fur to SB, his gpt goes down to 0 too.
Moscow is building nothing.

T128
Peter is teching...Literature. I will give it to him when he is 1 turn away from it.
Confucianism spreads to Vlad.
Moscow is still not available for sabotage production.

T129
SB finally has 2 gpt available, but his own fur camp is completed. He needs fur no more.:hammer2:
Peter needs 132t to literature, still in anarchy? He has 10g for trade. That doesn't seem like a deficit.
The great person is....a great artist!...
Interesting. The Parthenon bonus was applied to whales and clams city on T128. Now they have 13/9 gp more than planned. Game paused and uploaded.

Need to fix GPP.
*edit: I think the problem can be fixed by working on silver mine for 1 turn on this turn. Need to double check that.
**confirmed. reducing 1 scientist this turn can fix.

Huh, that is weird that the Peter cash vanished.
I will have to give it some thought.
Can't think of any reason the other 25:gold: would go poof for a turn.

Sitting Bull might have gotten more poor from losing a happiness resource and getting an angry citizen somewhere?
It was worth a shot to try and get 2:gold: per turn.
He will tech slower towards Feudalism anyway.

Darn that Sitting Bull!

I guess we could cancel gems gift to Peter and sell to Sitting Bull for 2:gold: per turn?

Huh, Parth bonus applied to a few cities on T128?
Weird!
Ya, we need to calculate and check that.

I'm not sure why Peter is at 132 turns for Literature.
I checked and changing 2 civics only takes 2 turns when a civ reaches 13 cities.
Perhaps he went 0% slider for a turn?

Give Peter Lit immediately! We don’t have time for him to waste. We want him teching Optics asap!

Did Peter revolt back to Tao?

132t is like 0% research with 1 sci specialist. Did he jack his espy slider?

Yes, Lit can be researched in 1t. It should have been given on T128. If you don't give it now, we could lose thetech gift. Should be +2 diplo, or is it already?

Oh, yeah, makes sense. Any city after Whales on the F1 screen got the bonus.
Are we sure that didt't mess up the spreadsheet? Better check
