Maybe we should decide now if we plan to use the spy. Cus if we already know we will not, then we should move him to Cahokia. I know I said we could leave SB there long term, but if there are no longbows and the spy mission works there, our muskets are there. Probably we're not fast enough, but still....the spy. thoughts?

Our blockades might be able to get him below 59Maybe buy another turn on lbs whatever that's worth.
longbow upgrades should be slow coming.
There is 1 turn that borders can pop to 40%, and it is fairly likely to happen.
If Cahokia did not have a hair trigger Catapult, I'd be more gung ho.
How about if Poverty Point is 20% defense and has no Longbows, we move spy to Cahokia?
I ok with waiting til 147 to decide and galley chaining the spy. (or maybe just the caravel?)

I'd ignore the cat and continue. We can still blockade. The galley can't get around us.
Prolly won't happen, but I'm glad we kept the spy there cus it could be useful if our stack is a bit damaged.1N1E could devastate our stack
Right, will ignore Catapult chance since our Muskets are so buff.
Trireme will blockade 3W1N of Cahokia as planned T146 and dare that Galley to attack us.
It can try to sail around us, but then we move back 1 space and it is totally blocked from our seas.

I have no idea how the AI of catapult works. Would it help to distract that catapult if we send the chariot to 2S1W of PP? Or that chariot has no movement left?
The odds of the Catapult being 1N1E of the capital are somewhat low, but if it attacks our stack we should still be ok.
I don't know if a Chariot distraction would be a good idea, but a Dog Soldier attacking it at 50% odds would not surprise me.
We didn't get Peter to Cautious yet so we have not DoW, so chariot has movement, but I'd rather not sacrifice the chariot. Just eat the dmg. I still think it's like 1% chance he attacks. I would think he needs a stack for followup kills.
Now is the time to decide what to trade to Sitting Bull once and for all.
He is 25 points behind Holy Roman Empire.
Machinery is 18 points.
Music, which Peter does not have, is 18 points.
Currency, which will increase SB's teching a bit, is 12 points.
HRE has 38 population
France, with its mystery score, has 32 population
Sitting Bull might already be ahead of France in score and we can't see it.
What should we trade to Sitting Bull to boost his score above Holy Roman Empire so Peter will be Cautious with Sitting Bull before our DOW?
how about machinery, music? We wouldn't want him building wealth. Would he do that?

It cuts down on the odds Sitting Bull trades Music (936
) to Peter for Feudalism (1 turn) + Currency (624) + goldPeter having Music too right now makes it harder to line up a good trade for Engineering.
Optics (936
) + Paper (936) is enough for Engineering (1560) I think.We don't want to trade him Gunpowder or Constitution.

I suppose this is a good trade cus it lets Peter either do Astronomy (which I'm not sure we can wait for) or Paper puts him in the direction of RepParts.Optics (936

Or do we want Peter in REP (Constitution) so he really techs faster?
I don't like getting him too close to Emancipation (Democracy)
If we get a bit more map knowledge, according to quick Test Game we might squeak by with only giving a bit of gold for Engineering.

If we want to give Music to Sitting Bull, I favor giving it to Peter also.
If we want to give Currency to Sitting Bull (instead of Music), we don't have to give Music to Peter, but it increases the odds we don't get SB higher in score than France and we have to give Music to Sitting Bull anyway on top of Currency.

Can we get Rome's map? Or maybe Sal's? We have Bismark's right? but Bis can't see Holy Rome's island.
This seems safest. And we have enough to get Eng.
Both Holy Roman Empire and Saladin require Pleased to get their maps.
They also give -3 diplo for different religion (or -4 if they own their holy city).
I don't think we can get either of their maps with just +4 Fair Trade.
