It may be several turns before we have Astronomy and foreign trade routes from the New World so I think we should bribe Peter into Free Market as Kait suggested which means that we have to sell him up to Econ by T155.
 
I'm still working out the details of pulling in Sushi by 1 turn. I should have the PPP up shortly for the next 3 turns. I'll be stealing most of Kait's work, of course. :)
 
How does the caravel get the first Sushi executive all the way to Cows City in 2 turns? The fort has no road on it so the Sushi exec would lose one movement point getting on the road.

EDIT: We could set up a chain with the galley and caravel, I guess.

Caravel moves 4 now. So you pass thru the fort, but unload in cows city. We also have Engineering, so it can walk to Science on the same turn! I know, surprising only 1 turn from Silver to Science using only 1 boat.

Moscow build a harbor?

Don’t forget Peter also needs PP the turn he spawns a GS.

I thought it was more than 8 tiles from the pick-up spot near Silver City to get into Cows City (I knew the Engineering walk was fine). I may not have sailed through the fort into Cows City when I calculated it. Let me check again.

Yep, I was sailing around the fort rather than through it. doh!

On the turn we see Peter get a GS, we'll have to sell him Education (if it happens before T155 and our planned bribe into Slavery)

He has Banking so we're trying to prevent him from going into Mercantilism and killing all of our precious trade routes with him.

The other option is to gift Education then Econ and put him into Free Market on or before T155. I'm fine either way.

Remember, he doesn't have REP, so I don't see caste being such a big tech boost for him. It might get him a GS sooner, but he probably has libraries and can run scientists. Caste will only increase chances he gets a merchant

If you calculate that triremes are not coming soon enough to interfere, I suggest:
The other galley SW of Cahokia (I don't see a plan for it) should go to tentatively pickup the 2 healed, cover muskets.
Don't board them until T153 and you know there are no triremes coming and Mesa Verde looks like a good target.
Those 2 plus the 2 that took Chaco Canyon (now healed) could all go raze Mesa Verde? 156? or 157?
Remember, SB will take slavery/anarchy 10t after we changed his civics. Is that T155?

Peter -> FM also gives us a commerce (>gold) boost now but not after Astro, right?
