Oh, of course. You will teleport to the ice-fur. You always stay on the landmass if there is any open tiles, right?
I need to test it.
Let me update the test game to see where everyone will teleport :crazyeye:
Spoiler :
New thinking is pillage hamlet + cottage still
Pillage 1S road and then pillage fort down south next turn, not 2S cottage
Leave forest road

When workers come down to fix the fort, border invasion with Musket + 2 Chariots

You'll have to be flexible. I can imagine a unit will come out of the city-1S (now roadless tile) next turn to try to get to the chariot. You'll want to kill it and cover it with another musket.
I'm sure something we didn't imagine will also happen.
you might not need to CF.

The results of the test are in.
Every unit on that island will teleport south onto the neutral ice tile if we Cease Fire! :D
Spoiler :

Our Chariot needs to pillage 1S of city and then get onto forest with musket.
Then next turn pillage the fort 1N of neutral tiles. (2S2E of the city)
Shorter walk to the city if a worker comes to fix that Fort.
the 1st unit entering a fort doesn't take 2 movement does it? did I just make that up?
Sounds like Zone of Control
Civ 5? Beyond Earth? I can't recall.

Actually, you are right about the road pillages now that I think of it.
The workers + LB's fixing roads and us attacking from the sea is not ideal :nope:

The workers + LB's fixing that fort and being obliterated by our land muskets is way better!
Plus, if they try to improve where that Hamlet was leveled, we can drop 2 muskets on that forest and trap them!

Huhuhu, yes, don't pillage any roads.

Yes, this has to be the ideal way to kill off this thorny island. (Unless everyone stays inside the city )
But then the 4th Catapult can change everything with +100% collateral damage.

Sword moved onto the fort I want to pillage.
Our musket has 74% odds.

Nuremburg made a 2nd Spear
Promoted the 4th Longbow to city garrison 3

I think I want to attack that sword and pillage the fur still

can u cover the injured with a musket?
if so, go for the kill
There is a backup chariot and amphibious musket I can use

Alright, cross fingers for our 0xp musket!

**Edit**
74% Sword destroyed!
3xp and 5.8/9hp :D

..
Cease Fire signed with Charlie after pillaging
All 10 units are now 3S2E of Nuremburg :)
