I got it. I will play tonight and finish up tomorrow.
Check progress from Internet cafe. AFAI can see no progress at all.
Keep moving, please. I think situation will changed when conehead finish, but in general, I think we may start FP in TGL City if no GL still.
Will look day after tomorrow again. Regards, Ivan.

Yeah, this is taking too long...
I vote to let Zarth play, he is next I think.

OK, MR y up. Since Zimbabve has GW it defence the same at size 6 and 7. We must keep Zimbabve because of GW and Pyramids. I agree that now better to have FP at the TGL City.
(Inzuk?).

Ok, I'll assess the situation tonight, if things are not too complicated, I'll play my turns as well.
Why do we want the FP in the GL-city? How do we perform a palace-jump? Do you get to choose where your new Palace materializes when you burn the old one?

Iznik is has a more central place on our main island and having the FP there will give less overlap than having the Palace and FP in Sogut and Palace city.

We use the great leader to hurry the palace in palace city.

I didn't hurry the palace just yet, because I wanted to wait for the FP in Iznik. Hurrying the palace now would give a lot of corruption in Iznik and then it will take ages to complete the FP.

Are you Going to wait 7 turns to hurry Palas in FP City?
Don't be redicules!
Mr Y, please,
Build something (University, say) in Iznuk and build FP in FP City. At preturn. We have many elites units and may get another GL. Advance to Ittombe! Do not wait till Mpondo flips.
Move settler to plains (2N) to attack babedy
Take Zimbabve.
Upgrade horses and warriors. Move faster!!! Send Galley from hlobane to North via Karachi.
Join our workers in Lahore and FP City, Dhely.
Bangalore needs Aqueducts.

I'm watching a bit, but I'll be able to play the next week.

So, are we going to have the palace in the GL-city(Iznik) and hurry the FP in the FP-city? Sounds good to me. Maybe we'll hurry the palace in Iznik with a second Great Leader.

I also agree with Ivan in hurrying the FP at the FP-city at the pre-turn, so we can attack/defend again with Elites for getting another GL(otherwise, we 'waste' our chances of getting another GL sooner).

btw: good job of getting a GL, Zarth.

general:
- Things did not go well. One Zulu town flipped back and we lost the other because I made a mistake. The good news is that our infrastructure has improved greatly, we are building units rapidly and making lots of money.
- We lost a lot of units trying to capture Zimbabwe. After the failed attack I decided to fall back and regroup.
- Catapults don't have any effect against Impi.
- I decided to emphasize on Frankish Axemen instead of Knights.
- Zulu resistance is POWERFUL. We need stronger units to take on the Impi. Knights and axemen are not strong enough.
- I'm not logging everything anymore, this will take too long, just the main events.

preturn:
switch Iznik to University,
switch Palace City to FP+hurry
switch Bangalore to Aquaduct
the attack on Zimbabwe fails miserably. There are at least 6 Impi there.
advancing stack of pults to Intombe

1. turn

Iznik University-Palace
Edirne Courthouse-Barracks
Palace City FP-Temple
joined some workers

Halfhurry some builds to put our money to good use. (This happens every few turns.)

2. turn

Izmit Library-Axeman
catapults don't have any effect on Intombes Impi. They do destroy the walls however.
joined some workers

3. turn

Bangalore Aquaduct-Marketplace

4. turn
5. turn

Edirne Barracks
Istanbul Marketplace-Barracks

6. turn - We loose the AI-bait-city to the Americans after I overlooked 1 unit. Reconquer the same turn.
7. turn - riots everywhere! turn up lux to 40%
8. turn - Mpondo flips back to Zulu.
9. turn - Moving all units out of Hlobane to prevent them from being lost after another flip.
10. turn - Another stupid mistake: Impi move 2 as well so one Impi can reach Hlobane.
1 Zulu Impi takes Hlobane and sinks our galley.
We should be able to take it back this turn and might decide to raze it.
All units can still move. Some are on automatic move towards Karachi.

Suggestions:
- Bombarding the Zulu Galleys so they make room and we can put over units from our home-island directly to Zululand
- Researching towards better attackers
- We have quite a number of units and are building new ones fast, but they are fragmented.
One stack next to Hlobane,
one stack next to Mpondo,
quite some in Karachi and
building new ones on our home-island.
A new plan is needed and we must choose ONE front.
- The units left in the north of Zululand can bombard and destroy improvements. They might travel south while destroying stuff, to join our mainforce.

Issues: We have lots of workers, most of them foreigners. All of our terrain has been worked. What do we do with them?

good

unfortunately it is MT take adges at our income

You are poor tactitian. Units must be in hook

I think better to take Ittombe to get fur. to get read of GW we must take Zimbabve

When we research engineering we will plant/cut forest. Why it in 3 turns? it was 6 when Zarth finished?

I assume by 'in hook' you mean grouped together.
What can I say... There's only so much you can do in 10 turns.
When I started there were 2 stacks and a long supply-line via the Indian Island (through Karachi). This still is the case. I made a major mistake losing the Zulu coastal city in my last turn, and I might have decided to bombard the Zulu galleys in the middle earlier, but then, I needed the artillery firepower to hold back the approaching Zulu attackers.
