The Iranian government declared the mobilization of the mujahadeen and a dangerous and lively insurgency in areas surrendered to the Soviet forces is now firmly established with daily attacks slowing Soviet supply lines and causing consisestent Soviet casualties.
It is the Iranian government, not the people, who supports the so called mujahadeen.
And you can bet no one in Iran will protest against a regime which opresses them, having no voice to do so.
