The United States, and by extension the nations of ADTO and the Commonwealth Alliance, will sign peace on the following terms:

1. A referendum is held within Newfoundland within one year, during which the people of that territory will choose to join Canada, declare independence, or remain a part of Britain.

2. A referendum is held in the Bahamas, and all Caribbean island territories of Britain, within one year, during which the people of these territories will choose to join the United States, join the Caribbean Union, declare independence, or remain a part of Britain.

3. Great Britain recognizes all new nations in the area of Ceylon as independent and sovereign, with all rights and powers entitled to any independent nation.

4. Great Britain cedes her Pacific Island territories to the United States, for which a compensation of 100 million dollars (1 EP) will be paid to Britain.

5. The African territories of Great Britain will be partitioned into no less than 2 independent African states.

6. The South American territories of Great Britain will be granted independence.

The United States will not accept negotiation of these terms. If they are refused, unconditional war will be waged with overwhelming force until they are agreed upon.

OOC: Dark, I was AGREEING with you! I have read every post in this thread, and when I need to go find something I look for it. The first word I used was "YEAH", which generally is an AGREEMENT! The comment afterwards was GENERAL, not at Italy. I was stating what Nukes should be for.

And Carmen, please stay IC. Since you're a member of ADTO, you should either declare war or come up with a good reason why you're abstaining. (You don't even really need to do anything, just declare as a sign of solidarity with the alliance.)

Though you say 1 EP, 2 max might work still. I believe that is ample compensation, and a chance for peace, not an outright way to ensure that there is a war. Also, I have a strong idea who someone is that will start a nuclear war *GLARES at Germany*

This is non negotiable, and needs to be done.

If necessary, Canada will consider adding 1 EP to that if that will ensure peace.

Japan suggests that Britain's Pacific territories be granted their independence. After all, wasn't this the goal in the first place when the Ceylonese rebelled?

Economically, these territories are dependent on supplies and assistance from some mother country, due to their remote location and very low population.

We sign this document and hope that all nuclear capable nations do so as well to preserve a balance and prevent holocaust.

So since you are wiping out another nation because they want to wipe out another nation you have to wipe out the person helping you wipe out the nation because you agreed to wipe out all nations who used nuclear weapons to wipe out a nation?
