Should I Do a Tier List?

Sure, why not? I mean it will generate a lot of disagreement, but that's almost a synonym for discussion.

I've been toying with the idea of tier lists on YouTube, but "best <thing> for <purpose>" tiers. Like for civs, Zulu great for pangea warmongering but bad for 80% archipelago.

It's fairly obvious though.

I'll be using random maps as the basis. What civs are good no matter what on Monarch/Emperor difficulty.

Seafarings is a lot better on pangea than expansionism on islands.

I'm not sure what civilization would be the middle of the road one. Babylon maybe?

Only two civs might be S tier.

You can make and endless list of lists.
Best for pangea/continents/arch, best for culture/wars/space race.
In Civ1 I would pick the russians or Romans, so I knew I didnt have to fight the Russians.
I mean, Rocky 4 was still fresh on my mind and the cold war had only just ended.
