Currently I'm using Netscape 7.2

Should I try FireFox?

Thank you :)

I'm using it. the plugins are cool!

I would :) though I must admit that I've never been a fan of Netscape

Firefox is great, and IMHO the best browers around at the moment.

Dunno, but I went from Netscape to Firefox.

I hate the way they've changed the tabs to have fixed size and being scrollable instead of resizing the tabs when new are opened.

The best thing about firefox is that if you don't like something about it, there's probably an extension that lets you change it. Hakim, have you tried Tab Mix Plus? Tons of options, and if that doesn't do it, just browse the other extensions.

I can't even begin to describe how good and useful FF is. Being able to share bookmarks between different computers is great, StumbleUpon is the ultimate timewaster, lots of other stuff.

Of course you should try it. Trying new things is always a good thing when dealing with computers, as you can keep whatever you like the best.

Also, FF is very good :)

Go for it. But be sure to try some extensions! With those, I wouldn't think Firefox is anything special, with them, it's your own personal browser.

forget it...

Use Opera.

Opera is good but MS locks Opera out of the new hotmail (they lock FF out of portions of support aswell though)

So get Thunderbird, with the webmail extension it doesn't have any problems with hotmail. :)

@taper: thanks forthe tip! It enables me to have the tabs on several rows instead which is a lot better.:goodjob:

Use Opera.

I've had trouble getting Opera to display CFC correctly. Example below (the page is fully loaded, including all images):

Hence why I'm currently using Firefox. IE is way too slow after either.

Wow, people still use hotmail?

Either something quirky in your config or a hiccup from the CFC server. I've no problems.

You didn't happen to go crazy with the content blocker, did you?

Opera 8 or Opera 9?

I still use hotmail. I don't see the benefits of switching to Gmail outweighing the pain of notifying people of your new e-mail address. I have actually swtiched to Yahoo once (got too much spam in my inbox, and Gmail wasn't around yet), but nobody sent anything to that address, so I ended up still using my hotmail. They seem to have spam under control these days, hardly see any unwanted messages these days.

I must say the Gmail interface looks quite cool, but since I started using Thunderbird, that's not a problem anymore.

I use hotmail as a secondary email now, before I used it as I was on my parents comp which meant I couldn't have private POP accounts, I don't use as the main one anymore but ppl still email that one so I can't lose it.

i use opera. But if first started web surfing with FF after i really hated IE. Try FF and Opera.
