Allright, another sid game with same settings as last time. Iro, huge, arch, 60%, sid. No scientific to help slow tech pace, no commercial so I get head start on GL, no seafaring for same reason and so they don't contact as easily.
What I'll do differently this time-
-Republic instead of monarchy. Monarchy couldn't research fast enough, and even if I did survive until cav, I'd be up against Arabia rifles.
-When I save up cash from min research, I need to not spend it. I badly needed that for rushing buildings, upgrading units, and research. I spent it on useless embassies and techs I would get from the GL anyway.
