Whoever came up with idea of humble bundle needs to become CNN hero for this year! What a great concept, what a win-win-win situation for everyone. I would never get Civ 5 without it, and now when I got it I discovered that my home city Yerevan was included as a cultured city state . Thanks Fraxis! First time ever Armenia got mentioned in the history of franchise.

Is there any mod that allows you to play as city state?

No mod to play as a city state, but if you picked up BNW with the Humble Bundle playing as Venice is pretty much the same.

Now, if you wanted to play as Armenia, as always there's a mod for that

Admins, this really would have justified a site-wide announcement. I've been on CFC several times in the last few weeks, but I always go direct to the sub-forums so I didn't know about this until it came up in a DoC discussion today. A lot of us in developing countries or on tight budgets for other reasons could have benefited a lot from this.
