French isn't as terrible as I thought.

You might want to add 'si' between 'pas' and 'terrible' though. Otherwise the meaning is quite different.
And change 'terrible' with 'dur' (hard), it'll be better, or at least convey better what I think you're trying to say .

Yeah, at first I thought it was made on purpose, but on the off-chance that it was not I felt entitled to point it out.
And it turns out that he did change his sig, so...

Pretty good actually, you even used one of the most 'complex' tenses and put the accents right. Here's a cookie, you would have gotten five had you used "qu'il y ait eu"
