Is your list correct? I have a feeling I was ruling recently. If I am mistaken I will skip my turn after myth because I want other players here to rule.

Guys i have my desktop at hand again. If someone wants to skip his turn or something i could take it, if there is not inconvenient from the next guy of course.

I will play it now then. I wont do big things anyway.

The most important thing is that time passes. 5 years alone shapes city greatly.

After a long and deserved holyday at Maldives and after losing all the remaining money in a casino visit, thorgalaeg returned to his political career keen to serve the community as always.

Curious about rumours about a new beachy paradise in the region the visited the so-celebrated so-called "Billionaire Bay" and after in-deep inspection he laughed at it this way: "hahaha, and they call this a beachy paradise? It is a suburban hell with a couple of beaches where the old geezer can spend his last days waiting for death, it is Florida 2.0"

So a lesson on what "beachy paradise" really means was needed. He looked around for the correct place and found these small islands NE Fort Costernation. And inspired by his time at Maldives, Thorgalaeg got down to work, never afraid to get his hands dirty (metaphorically of course).

After some squaring and flatting work, proper beaches were set down, a ferry, some roads, and high density residential, and finally all plugged into FC. Nasty things like garbage treatmet, electricity production and water pumps would be outsourced. This was supposed to be a damn beachy paradise after all!
Spoiler :

With the first island full, it was the second one turn. A risky bridge was built to connect it to FC. After that it received the same treatment as the first island, a hospital and a bridge connection to a third landmass was also built. In this last beach-less island some not-funny things which couldnt be outsourced like cemetery and jail were built.
Spoiler :

To build Thorgalaeg´s mansion, a new island, far away from plebeian odour, was born out of the very bottom of the sea. Mother nature has not a chance against the power of the mountain-mover. Flower gardens and a tennis court would make it a bit of the lost paradise down in Earth. It had even a roundabout so thorgalaeg could stroll around in circles in the official limousine. Sadly, somebody added a ferry terminal, so the flower gardens were full with protesters in not time.
Spoiler :

Meamwhile in the main island, a luxury resort was built, beaches were giving some fruits yet.
Spoiler :

A new island was built in the middle of everything in order to add extra space for schools, offices and other things not related to beaches.
Spoiler :

Population was growing quickly, Everything filled with mid to high class high density residential as it was, so new treaties with FC were needed without delay.
Spoiler :

So, that is all. Ten year passed quickly. The city can finally sustain itself. And leaving aside some major traffic jams at the road connecting to FC, which cant be solved easily since there is not a single free centimeter remaining (maybe cutting off the road connection to FC?), everything seems to work surprisingly flawlessly.

Weird Islands.
Population: 22,227 (not counting the millions of seagulls)
Money: $229,744
Monhtly Balance: $417

Spoiler :

PD:Submarine wires are needed ASAP. Those electrical lines ruin the whole thing badly. :vomit:

Region file.

Well that was unexected turn of events :D It looks very nice thought, Venice? I think I am beign inspirated right now.

edit: wasnt one rule that you can reign only 5 years or does that region has a special rule?

Ups!, I thought it was 10 years not 5.

Well, then i solemnly declare that anybody can rule as many years as he wish in Weird Islands. They are weird for something.

Very nice! There sure are a lot of beaches there! And the mayor's mansion looks very luxurious and aristocratic.

...so who is next?

Very nice, I like the look of that archipelago. To make it more picturesque I'd suggest putting a windmill or two on each island, then you wouldn't have to worry about those ugly, ugly powerlines.

I believe it's mythmonster's turn now. On a similar theme; does anybody know if germanicus is back?

Also, bonefang, have you got NAM installed yet? Does that link work?

It would be great if bridges automatically carried power or there was an underwater alternative. They look fine on land but whenever I have an island city I try to avoid using power lines to connect the islands.
