Well, alrighty then. Here's the start I just generated and looks to be a romp. Let's see who can romp best.

Spoiler Up to Turn 9 :
I struggled with this start because I don't like settling next to a volcano.
Not sure if this is Apocalyptic Mode or any of the settings except for Deity.
I decided to move my warrior to the west at first.
After thinking about it I decided to see what was on the other side of the volcano.
I ended up moving to a plains hill near the desert thinking about the Pyramids.
I chased a barb scout around and found 3 CS's for first meets.
I found the Barb Camp but the CS's beat me to clearing it.

Mining First.
Not sure if I should just go Bronze Working now in hopes of 3 Barb kills.
I don't mind rushing some Great Generals since they stack with the Unique General.
Or Pottery into Early Writing and Campus... I dunno.

I decided on Builder first after the late settle.
Most likely go into a Settler next.

Seems like you have plenty of open land.
This land doesn't seem very easy or simple for me.
Tired now so mess with it later...

I am really bad at this game...

Spoiler Up to turn 90 :
Here is a quick recap.
I've been playing too much Apocalyptic Mode.
In hindsight, this would of been easier to just settle the Volcano on turn 2 or so.
I researched BW and switched off since I couldn't find Barbs.
Religious Settlements up at Turn 16.
Tried to sneak in another Settler but the game had other plans for me

Rel Set 16.jpg

On turn 25 or so the Barbs found me.
On turn 27 they decided to pay me a visit.
This put me into a tailspin.

Barbs 27.jpg

I decided to go to their house on turn 37.
I couldn't wipe their camps out as I was holding out for a Dark Age.
Any delusions of grandeur of me finishing fast went right out the window.
I fell into building troops and losing 2 or 3 as the Barbs were Angry!
This is normal for me.

Barb Camps 37.jpg

So I fell into a Dark Age... thanks Barbs!
Not so terrible as I used the 2f2p card a bit.
I ended up getting a classical GG down the road.
I think it was classical... have to check later to make sure.
I built some settlers and one turned them.
Of course after building a couple I noticed I had the Builder Card in and not the Settler Card.
I was wondering why I wasn't getting any overflow on the chops.
This is normal for me... always screwing up.

I got some faith generation going and put some missions down.
I got 3 envoys into Fez so I bought a library for 360 gold.
I couldn't get any Culture going this game and didn't get Feudalism till turn 90.
So on turn 90 I mass settled 6 cities for 9 cities at turn 90.
I only had 3 at turn 70 so it didn't go very good for me at all.
At least I am in a Heroic age but having 55 Era Score out of only 33 needed is gonna be a problem.
Governors were Magnus x2
Liang
Amani
Ping

It seems this is a Continents Map and I never do very well on them.

9 cities by T90 is OK

Middle of the road average at best.
I'm guessing fast players have 12-15 or more at turn 90 on this map.
I wouldn't be surprised to see players winning domination on this map at 125 - 150.
I just play goofy and still haven't figured out the proper sequences.

perhaps... if they get lucky.
The difference between being hit by a swarm of barbs on deity and not being hit by a swarm of barbs is significant.
Some mighty fine campus spots I would have been tempted to foster earlier rather than have moar cities. I do not like playing with 12-15 of my own cities.

Doing great! These neighbors are a mixed blessing, easy to befriend, easy to runaway. I put my second city on the Amber where you put Bogata and Pyramids in the exact same place. Settled in place. There's an easy +6 and +5 Campus spot right near the original start, along with starting with the Astrology boost. Good Hammers and Food and great Science? Yes, please. Honestly, I probably should have settled the volcanic vent to the West.

Fez was helping Gilgamesh more than they were me and had to go. They are now Colombian, with a +4 Campus! Gilgamesh also forward-settled me in the Medieval, when I was Golden and they were Dark, donating a city to me just South of Fez.

I'm researched-allied with Gilgamesh and culture-allied with Wilfred. I proposed the idea that Spain's offensive religious conversion was a good reason for war, and Canada agreed. I don't know why I like smashing Spain more than any other, but it's a thing with me. I'll let Sumeria or Canada take their last city, unless I direly need the Era Score, but Spain is a goner by the end of the Industrial.

Spoiler Up to Turn 121 :
I couldn't decide where to settle the capital.
My main problem was thinking this game might be Apocalyptic Mode.
So I ran from the volcano instead of settling on the Thermal Tiles or near the Reef.
I gambled and lost as the Barbs Invaded.
After that, I have been falling into the trap of hard building too many districts.

I chose to faith buy builders over more cities for the time being.
14 cities at turn 121, not so great.
I probably could of settled 4 more at the least.
Doing other things to insure another Golden Age after this Heroic one.

I attacked Canada around turn 97 or so.

Canada 100.jpg

I didn't have an army but Cahokia had a bunch of swords and for 460 Gold I levied them.
I figured I could at least do some pillaging but I managed to get 3 cities.
Spain helped me for cheap but Gilgamesh charged me 21gpt to fight the Canucks.
I paid him.
Montreal fell to Jerusalem and they razed it as I wasn't thinking.
Canada got up walls in their Capital and Expo so I stalled out.
I met Russia recently.

Here is the Empire at turn 121

See, now you're even ahead of me. By a lot. I'm really suffering a lack of Iron, and it won't let me upgrade my Warriors to Musketmen.

I'm guessing you don't have gunpowder yet?
That would be the upgrade problem?

Oh WoW!
You just decided to Roll Fez!!
I misunderstood when you said that in your earlier post and the +4 Campus.
I thought you allied them lol.

Canada had a bunch of the Iron.
Quebec City has two sources in my game so that is nice to control.
I kinda just want to spam Colossal Heads everywhere as I enjoy that Tourism Style Victory.
I also just want to take every city I see on this Continent :)
Who am I kidding... I want to take every city on the Map!

We are playing different styles.
I'm abusing the AI through trade of just about everything.
I'm also abusing the AI through DoF/DoW manipulation.
I'm a cheater.
I figure if you are going to trade open borders for gpt you might as well abuse all aspects of Trade.
If the Devs don't want us to abuse Trade or Chops, they should fix it!
I always think of the post that @Victoria made a few days ago...
Kill and Win.

I'm way behind though as I'm willing to wager better players would own this continent by now.
I get stuck in making this decision to build too many districts in every city.
For some reason, I just keep doing that nonsense.
Someone said the other day that all you need is a bunch of useless cities and a Large Army.
I should be focusing more on Army Production and that Sweet Smell of Napalm in the Morning.

After looking at my screenshots I should just levy Hong Kong.
They have a nice Army.

Sumeria had 7 Envoys in Fez, and were rivaling my SPT. I didn't want to continue that argument, and with Gran Colombia Greatest Generals boosting Catapults too Fez folded easily. My Archers were killing their Crossbowmen.

I do have Gunpowder and plenty of Niter so I'm a little perplexed why I can't upgrade my Warriors. I've had this issue before where you can't skip an upgrade stage that you aren't capable of building and I don't have 20 Iron.

I think I got my Campuses and Theater Squares up a bit sooner than you did, so my amount per turn isn't as high but I'm ahead on techs and civics a smidge. I'm already 40% done on Potala Palace in Bogata. Stonehenge's main contribution to my game was giving me an axis to put 3 extraordinary Theater Squares around.

After looking at your screenshot a bit more it seems you chopped it out more.
Also, your city planning is better than mine.
I can't wait to get control of the Ottawa Senators Organization!
It seems they built Kilwa Kisiwani for me which is nice.

Spoiler Up to Turn 140 :
Interesting.
Fun to play along with you at the same time.
I'm at turn 140 and gonna take a break.
I should of put Amani into Cahokia when I was worried about losing the Levied Units.
I lost them in mid siege but I had enough of my own to continue.
Canada should fall soon.
I had to hold up 2 turns to pillage the backside.
I'm losing my focus in the game.
I want to buy some more settlers and settle the rest of the land but I want to do other things with the faith as well.
I found some of the better CS's but its so darn late to make them matter for the time being.
Here is a screenshot of the destruction of Canada.
I haven't used the faith or gold reserves as I just pillaged on this current turn.
I plan to Kill your favorite Spain next as Gilgamesh is at war with them.

Spoiler Turn 143 :

Tough decision now to Ally up with Gilgamesh or not.

Those sweet Canadian Campuses! Spain crumpled to fast-moving Musketmen, Knights and Bombards. Dark Renaissance into Heroic Industrial, and now I don't know how I want to win. Russia is my biggest concern but also has the biggest military. I might Faith-buy a bunch of Llanero or I might just go for a fast Diplo Victory if I ace the next voting session. Poor dead Fez might be the only Scientific City-State.

Kinda interesting as your empire isn't Traditionally one Blob or Mass.
I've never conquered like that.
You got those guys boxed in!

Spoiler Turn 160 :

This game is a lot of clicking for me.
Spain has Fallen on Turn 160 and we work on Gilgamesh now.
I actually went into Oil this game and got up Artillery.
Forgot about Tanks but might as well get some as I move towards Flight.
I'm having an awful time getting Culture Per Turn this game.
Guess I am not focusing on it enough.
I decided to just take La Venta but it was a tough choice as I like Colossal Heads.
26 cities at this point.

my type of player, adds flavour to the game.

What did they do to trade?
All AI's have denounced me but still Trade their Luxuries and Artwork??
It's like the Devs went backwards with Trade as it only costs 2gpt to buy Luxuries when Friendly?
7gpt when they hate your guts???

Anyways, in this current game I should just snipe the Capitals and perhaps finish.
I'm probably pillaging too much but its fun.

I finished the game out anyway because I like Warmongering.
This is an unusual game where I had Multiple Armies and Combined Forces.
I even had a few Battleships and a non-upgraded Galley Fleet racking up kills.
I rarely use Aircraft Carriers as I usually play on Pangaea.
So, this was a nice change of pace since I got to use them.
I'm sure victory on this map could be achieved 50+ turns faster but at least it was under 200 turns.
I ended up with 51 cities which satisfies my "one more turn" addiction.

Spoiler Domination Turn 196 :
Once I realized I should try to Snipe, I bought and upgraded an Air Force.
It took 26 turns for it to be completed as Jet Bombers are simply the best.
I had a bit of good fortune when Russia took Indonesia's Capital and it revolted.
I took that Free Capital and as it had the Colosseum in it, loyalty wasn't an issue.

Turn 184.jpg

3 Turns later and I had my foot in the door.
I think we all know what 187 means and ironically that was the turn...

Turn 187.jpg

My Military went through Indonesia, into Nan Madol and captured The Mali Capital.
While this was going on, I assaulted the beaches of Norway and took Harald's House.
I connected the Empire with Timbuktu which should be a meme.

Timbuktu.jpg

The world is ours for the taking as the Mighty Russians finally Fall on Turn 196.
Nobody seemed happy about this @Casualty of war
Thanks for the Map/Game and sharing!

A nice under-turn 200 Domination victory! @Fluphen Azine I still haven't decided which way I'm going to go, and distracted by the GotM. And there's your videos to watch! And the nation's burning down! Bride to murder, Guilder to frame for it, I'm swamped.
