Love was bitten by a snake and then died from the poison.

The other mafioso was probably too arrogant or too angry; possibly he would have killed with relish or more likely just some salt and pepper. But, he didn't, because he lazily never sent a kill in.

A question worth asking, in both hypotheses, is which one is the mafia's.

Yes, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Eberron, whatever, pick your poison. Its still based on DnD, although I have no idea whether its officially sanctioned by WotC. Anyhow I hope you get lynched for casting magic missile into the darkness, kender.
