1) can be done purely with XML (if only 1 city is targeted)
2) Without the chance and with only 1 city already doable in XML (I thought there was some percentage modifier somewhere :hmm:)

Okay, give me 3 ideas where more Python work than XML work is required :p ;).
Sorry i dont understand the even xml whatsoever. I look at the fire one and no were do i see it saying that the city looses a building, so i got no idea in that category

I could do some. Sometimes I get bored and events are easy.
If youd be interested that would definalty be cool. Events are really the only xml thing i dont understand, and even xml ones you would get a lot of support since your really no one else is doing them

Nice work:goodjob: The mod I was looking for events for is modern so I cant really use pirate:lol: But i will definatly for sure put them into my african mod, as that works perfectly..Nice job!!:D

hmm....
1)Cities that don't have your state religion, have anti-religionX riots and want you to change to their religion.
*Ignore them, anger in all cities, small chance for revolt/revolution in there cities (If you dont wanna do revolution, just revolts if possible)
*Donate to their church to calm them down, loose money
*Give them religios freedom, switches civic to free religion (required tech that gives free religion)
*Change religion, + happiness in those cities(maybe minus happiness in cities with original religion
^^Maybe you can change that to be only on religion change, not sure
2)Small anti-goverment paramilitary force has popped up in a civ you are either angry with or in war with
*Support them with a lot of military units, loose a certain number of units, between half and double of those units enemy ones are killed (ex. if you give 4, enemy looses 2-8 units whereever in their land). The actual event would just say "Loose X units", but it would send you a message after sayign "Y number of enemy units were killed by the paramility force in civX"
*Support with a little military support, same as above but smaller
*Send gold, loose gold, 0-2 units killed
*Do nothing
3)International company wants to move its HQ to your city of X
*Make sure it happens, loose a lot of gold, HQ goes moves to that city, -relation with original hq civ
*Donate money to the cause, loose some gold, 25% chance
*Send best wishes, 10% chance
*Decline invitation, -X% gold, +relation with that civ

Thats about as complicated as one i can think of, so definatly gotta requiere python, if not i give up:lol:

Will put them on my schedule. But not sure when I'll have time to do them, because today I got an invitation for a job interview, and therefore I have to prepare some stuff for the next week :D.

1 event done (why does this always take so long :ack:?).
I guess it's easier to merge them if they are uploaded separately...but I'm not sure if there's a good reason to exclude any events if you're modding, so uploading them all as 1 mod component would make more sense....or not?
 
So I put in the revolution event and it works great! The only suggestion I would definatly put in there is a second option saying "Grant them the independence they want" as that should definatly be an option since if it happens during wartime theres a pretty good chance you might want to just let them go. Possibly give them a diplomatic bonus with other civs for giving them independence.

Also the second screenshot you have for it where Pacal says "greetings", that does not show up for me. And personally that is a great thing in my opinion since them revolution and then you need to say "there will be peace" then war seems cheesy but that does not show up for me for whatever reason

Another suggestion for it would be making sure they chose a different government civic since that would make sence in a revolution, or different civics in general.

Also I would remove the word dictatorship, as if they have a democracy and not a police state then its assuming:crazyeye:

:hmm:...:dunno: no idea why it doesn't happen to you. Should be a normal part of Civ4. The greeting too, so I can't really do anything about it :dunno:.

Done. Took 2 hours :ack:. Must be doing something wrong, else I'd be faster ^^.

Any ideas for balancing?
Currently I have:
- Pay 800, lose 6, destry 3-15
- Pay 500, lose 4, destroy 2 - 10
- Pay 200, destroy 0 - 2
IMHO not balanced, but no idea what to change :/.


Oh, I take another 2 ideas for events (NOT by dacubz :D ;), want to give the others a chance; if nobody replies within 3 days I take again ideas from you :)).
Want to release it as a pack, but 3 seems a bit ridiculous for a pack. With 5 I can call it at least a "mini pack".
