Anyway, this is just some fun based on if Latin Christiandom=The Imperium of Man. In their (or, at least, more emperor-happy and radical Aquitainian) view, Forn Sidr is definately... corruptive. The Byzantines equally so.
Besides, under it all, I am still playing the relatively "tolerant" state. Venice is tolerant because they won't have much business if they diss every other merchant; we are just because we're that kind of people. Duke Francis is just an "Inquisitor" shall we say...

That was most definitely a peace treaty by definition, and it would still extend to France despite their position in any new alliance. If you are a treaty breaker, I will punish you to the fullest extent that God allows and all the world will know that statements from the Sultan of Castile are worth less than the paper they are printed on.
