Alright guys, thats 2 down, and everyone seems to be skipping. Shall we call it quits? If you look at the turn order, this is DGiT revisisted, without Sandrock or SpikeIt.

Edit: I was quite enjoying this game, ive never tried regicide before but with all the problems, its hard to stay focused on the game.

If this does close down and anyone here still would like to play in an SG let me know, we can all start one together.

Preturn - Tell Spain to leave or go to war. They Obey.
MM the cities to get a tiny bit more out of them. Mainly growth in a turn quicker.
Change Tilburg from Library to Harbor so we can get 2 food out of coast and can start growing it. Library would take 27 turns, harbor will take 2.
Turn sci down from 80 to 70%, keeping chemistry in 2 but gaining 40 GPT. Upgrade a few units, and still have alot of gold left to get the rest before I'm done with my turns.
Trade Wine, Lit, and 72 gold for Spainish Spices. They were the only people who didn't have Lit yet. Go back and MM the cities again... Well Silvertown at least. We should be able to grow to size 12 in almost every city without having any luxury on the slider...
Notice some English troops near Canerbury... oh well, not even close to Nationalism yet, so no drafting. It MAY fall.
Sistine Chapel due in 20 at Silvertown now, and Knights Templar coming in 8...
We have about 1 worker per a city. After we finish off the English, we MUST change some of the larger cities over to workers... We have a good lead, but we're in the Middle Ages and our core isn't even finished.
Next Regicide game I play is going to be on Regent or harder.:p

IBT - Canterbury fell to the first attacker, and we lost some slave labor too.
Spanish make some more movement into our lands, trying to claim all the space we left open taking out India.

Turn 1 (910AD)- Solar Nexus Uni --> Worker
Soulmaster H & I Courthouse -- > Colosseum
Tell Spain to get go home. They don't, but they leave us alone at least.
Move settler SW, and a Barb hut pops up right next to it... a barb hut that wasn't there before I moved. DAMN IT!!!!
Move 2 workers who are in the middle of nowhere back home to work more on the home front.
Move Stack towards London to end this war ASAP, and work more on growth.
Change all the cities producing Knights to producing other things, mainly courthouses, or happiness. This may be a war game, but if that's all we worry about, we're done for. The next player can change them back to Knights if they like.

IBT - Spain moves into our lands again. The Barbs didn't take out our Settler!! Chemistry comes in, and change it to Navigation so we can trade maps around.
Iro start on Templar, but we'll beat them to it.

Turn 2 (920AD)
SolarNexus Worker -- > Colosseum
Tilburg Harbor -- > Courthouse (This doubles our food, make Tilburg possible able to grow to size 12 once we get Aquaduct.) COurthouse is due in 80, but we can quick rush it in about 5 turns or so.
Build HIlversum with the Settler I thought was done for... Thank God for Conquest... he'd be toast in real Civ3... One thing I just thought of as I set it to build a Spearman. How come it didn't have an escort to begin with?!

Knight dies to Spearman in Warwick. Knight attacks Spear in Oxford, looses and retreats. Now it's time for London... Lets see how it goes...
Great, just noticed that they're all at half health. Decided to regroup and heal a few turns. That's what comes from not playing in almost a month.:p

IBT - Spain moves in our lands agin. Starting to piss me off. Ottomans tell us to leave his lands. We say sorry, and keep moving north. Hilversum was Ransacked by a Barb warrior, lossing 16 gold, but at least it was built.

Missed Newcastle growing, and it riots.
Lot of worker actions, and upgrade a warrior in Breda.
Move Knights to resting place right outside of English lands.
Hurry Aqueduct in Ghandi's Bannans (?)... it's stuck at 6 right now.
We really need to bring some water up to Barren Wasteland so we can make the desert bloom.
Stop a riot in Harlingen by giving them some entertainment. Need to connect that city ASAP.
Hurry Spearman in Hilversum.

IBT - Spanish FINALLY head south, not trying to expand in our neck of the woods anymore.

Move leader one step to many north, leaving it exposed. :(

We have a BAD need for water in the far north and south.

IBT - Some minor troop movement by Spanish and Ottomans again... Vandal barb comes out of nowhere and takes out our leader. Sorry guys.:(

Take out horseman who took out our great leader!
Rush Swiss Merc in Leerdamn, Dordrect, and Lauwersoog for about 75 gold together.

Laurwersoog Swiss Merc --> Barracks (Know it's backwards, but didn't set the swiss merc build.)

Leerdam Swiss Merc --> Courthouse

Knights near England are almost healed, and have 2 more to join them. Worker starts forest cut near Newcastle to get Harbor quicker.

IBT - Iroquois demands Engineering. I don't like being bullied, and tell him to go shove it up his... nose. Says the Dutch have a courageous leader, and he salutes me.

I put Coper. Obvs. in Que for SolarNexus. Has the most science of our cities, and is large enough to build it quickly. Cathedral should finish on my last turn, or the start of the next persons. We get Knights Templar next turn!!

Start a worker bring water to Barren Wastland... didn't automate him, so the next person will have to continue him, or if they want automate him.
Move stack of Knights towards London. Will be there, ready for the next player to finish Liz off.
Quick Rush harbor in Ghandi's Bannans.
Turn sci slider down to 50, still getting Navigation in 2, but more then doubling our GPT.

Byz has Dyes now, if someone want so buy them. I think we're good on luxuries for now, so I skip it.
SolarNexus Cathedral -- > Copernicus' Observatory.
Forest Chop complete in Newcastle, and so hurry the rest of it with 48 gold. Hurry the Barracks in Lauwersoog for 80 gold too.

Everything is upgraded that can be, we have 410 in the back, with Metallurgy due in 6, with 36 GPT.

All the cities are going good, but Harlingen needs a road built to it, and Barren Westland, and other points north need a water source which I start bring to them.

The Knights are outside the gates of London, ready for the next player to destroy them.

Alright guys, I think since we're playing regicide we shouldn't try and reclaim the whole contient. We're running high on corruption. I think we should kill the Spanish and Ottomans before we continue building our lands up. We'll have at least 50 turns ( I hope) before we'll see anyone from the other contient enter ours, so I think we should just head for each of the remain capitols, and destroy them. Then we can start building settlers after that, and build the rest up in peace. Any comments?

I think that if we cant get the whole continent to ourselves, (due to the irritating nature of the new corruption model),

then just clear the continent as much as possible, then we have the choice of either building up for a while and unleashing huge numbers of cavalry or tanks on the enemies or shoot for space, either way, i think it would be best to get this game moving and finish it asap, then we wouldn't have to worry about the skipping and stuff.

Lets get this game moving guys, we can win this. :) :hammer:
 
Oh yes we can win this... the question isn't so much if we can win this, but how easy is it going to be? I don't like Regicide personally. One stratgic strike is all it takes to destroy a civ.

But I really had to struggle against corruption there, mainly because of Monarchy. We're 2 techs away from Demo if we want to go that way, but we'll need to take out the spanish and ottomans first

Whos up next?.
 
I'm out guys. This game is done for me. We've been waiting for almost a week for Silver to play, or at least tell us whats going on and no reply. This game would easily have been won anyway.;) See ya over at DGiT.;)
