I'm just going to finish off England, and build some muskets. It's time to just clean our contient up, and make it pure for the Fatherland!
 
Alright guys I got about half way through my first turn and noticed we had several settler pairs heading south. Now the question is, do we have plans for these guys, or are they just grabbing as much land as they can? I'm going to hold of here until about 8PM pac time for everyone to chime in, and let me know what we want to do with them.
 
Sorry wasn't checking this last night.

I think we should grab as much land as possible. I haven't seen what we liberated from India and France so I am not sure where we should head first.
 
Preturn: Check all the Diplo screens, and see where we stand. can you say tech lead? MY LORD! Second time I've said this, but we really should have played a much harder difculty with Regicide going. Expanding in newly conquored lands nicely too I see. Looks like it may be in our best interest for me to build up a little this turn, and leave the war for Those Who Will Follow. I didn't see we were in our golden age. I wonder how much longer I have left on it.

Change Ghandi's Bannans (should this be Bannana's?) from Barracks to Aqueduct.

Change SunTzu from 3 turns to 4 to help prevent any cascading. GL and Leo's both in at 4 as well.

Turn 1:
Zwolle Swiss Merc ==> Courthouse
Soulmaster's H/I forgot ==> Swiss Merc
Silvertown Knight ==> Sistine Chapel

Move some workers around roading, clearing all the Jungle down south, and send all the settlers down south as well. Move some some trops down towards England, getting ready for the war to start anew.

Turn 2:
Tilburg Spearman==> Lib
Suger Plantation knight ==> knight
Den Helder Knight ==> Swiss Merc

Continue working the workers. Fortify spear, and move knight south. Do some quick MMing and get a little bit better growth around, without hurting production anywhere.

IBT: England send Settler pair up to try and fill old Indian lands.

Turn 3:
Education in, going for Astronomy in 5, making 31 gpt. Treasure is a healthy 568. Lost ToA due to Education coming in. Nothing builds, so tease the English by making a wedge preventing their settler moving north. Continue move forces towards the south.

IBT: Get some troops booted from Kafa.

Turn 4:
Great Library is in at SilverSoul Palace. Change it to produce Knights Templar.
Leo's in at SolarNexus. Change it to Swiss Merc. Can make one every turn now.
Obivion Beach Knight ==> University.
Eindhoven builds Sun Tzu. Change it to Cathedral.
Arnhem Knight ==> Knight
Soulmaster Swiss Merc ==> Courthouse
Gold Hill Knight ==> Knight
Leiden Marketplace ==> Swiss Merc
Lauwersoog Marketplace ==> Worker

Lot of stuff there. Send all units to the south. Change Newcastle from Lib to Spearman because I'll be an old man before it gets to that library. Sell all the barracks we have for about 200 gold. Don't see any happiness issues so don't bother building Temples. I only saw one in the whole empire... at least that I can remember.

IBT : So Ends our Golden Age. Cry for me Arge...er... ummm... nevermind.

Turn 5:
Lyons Marketplae ==> Swiss Merc
Den Helder Swiss Merc ==> Swiss Merc

Build some mines and roads, and move what warriors we get to the south. Then go around and cancel all movement orders so the next person doesn't have all these gotos going, because I just got a call from work about a lovely problem I get to fix. We're down to 1gpt, with Astronomy due in 5. Sorry if I left anything sloppy.

At least this way we get to have even years on the turns.

Turn 1: Barb warrior attacks our knight and is killed.
SolarNexus: Swiss Merc -> University.
Lauwersoog: Worker -> Harbour.

Tell Isabelle to sling her hook, an archer is right next to one of our cities.

Gouda Founded, set to Swiss Merc.

Looks like we have a fair number of troops near the english, im seriously considering giving them some pain.

(SolarKnight Thinks to himself, this is regicide, we only need to kill their king unit (in this case a queen unit.), so a decisive strike at london is all we need. Its Guarded by 5 spears, queen elizabeth and a sword. Bring it on!!:hammer: ).

War is declared!!

Kill the settler/spear pair trying to leave english territory, redlining our MDI.

Turn 2: Harlingen riots, give clown.

Dordrecht founded, set to swiss merc.

Liverpool is destroyed. Takes 3 knights, one loses to an elite spear, one kills a reg spear, other finishes elite spear.

Canterbury is ours with one worker as our elite MDI kills a spear.

English sword attacks a vet knight, it retreats, then another sword kills it.

Turn 3: Oblivion hill: Colluseum -> Knight.

clown for silvertown.

Sugar: Knight -> Knight.

Resistance in canterbury ends.

Kill English Sword.

Turn 4:
English raze Gouda :smoke: should have been paying attention.
Den Helder: Swiss merc -> Knight.
Harlingen: Settler -> Courthouse.

Lose a couple knights trying to kill a spear and a sword.

Turn 5: Astronomy -> Chemistry.
Lyons: Swiss Merc -> Knight.
Leiden: Swiss Merc -> Knight.
Rush two knights, dont know where the english are getting these spears from, they seem to be almost invincible.

Turn 6: Oblivion Hill + Ahrnem: Knight -> Knight.
Finally kill the elite spear in london.

Turn 7: Silver City: Cathedral -> Knight.

Turn 8: Breda: Market ->Knight

turn 9: Barren Wasteland: Library -> Temple
city on island: Harbour -> swiss Merc

Turn 10: Finally, we get a ray of light, a sword attacked our elite MDI and has produced a great leader [party][dance].

I suggest the next player gets him to a city and makes an army, we need to punish england, and we need more knights and preferably a knight army or cav army to finish them off.

We need knights and scores of them. london and the english are proving to be quite resilient. (quite typical of us english actually :p)
