small civic issue, no wheat

Just a few minor fixes:

Some civics have descriptions in the Civics screen (appear in red) that appear to belong in the list below the description, and do not actually happen. A good example is Apprenticeship, which says in its description that it gives unlimited Engineers, but this doesn't show in the list of features (where it should go in the Civics screen), and it doesn't actually appear to give unlimited Engineers.

I have also noticed that Wheat hasn't appeared in any games I've played for the last few months, which only matters to me because it is required for some culture wonders.

Interesting... the wheat issue is probably something to do with either the mapscript or the bonus settings which I think DH would be best equipped to address.

The Engineer issue... is that the only time a civic states that you'd get unlimited assignability of a given specialist only to fail to provide this benefit or is it not working on ALL specialists among all civics?

I have not changed anything to do with the resources in a while. The last change was so that parrots, guinea pigs and kava appeared in the game. Last game I had wheat, barley and rice. This game I have no grains but the peoples on the next continent do.

Is there any way to make sure at least one of every given resource WILL appear on the map somewhere?

You can specify how many should appear per player but that is it. If there is no suitable terrain or all suitable terrain already has resources placed earlier on them then that is it.

Currently all grains are defined as one per 16 (or 32) plots. They all have a minimum of zero per player.

is that 16 or 32 plots among plots that have been identified as 'bonus' plots or is that 1/16 or 1/32 plots throughout every 'valid' plot on the map?

I have seen other unlimited specialists work for other civics. Apprenticeship is a civic that has some of the features appearing wrongly in the Civics screen (i.e., they appear to have been missentered as part of the civic description, rather than as functioning features; I'm not sure how better to describe it but I would urge you to open a game and look at it), which may mean that they were coded wrong.

I just noticed that there is no Dye in my current game either, but fortunately there are workarounds for this (like the Sulfur mine route). Many thanks for this! I am gad to be able to make books despite the lack of raw Dye.

Dye is no longer a map resource in C2C. It can only be manufactured from (Sulphur, Indigo, Henna, um Murex, um etc.)
